FSU TE Will Tye will transfer to Stony Brook.
FSU OL Henry Orelus will transfer to Kentucky as a graduate student.

Both had solid expectations coming in, Tye was just the product of dominating Northeast prep school kids (but helped FSU land Bjoern Werner) and Orelus had injury issues. Neither will be missed in 2013.

this happened a few days ago, but DE Se'Von Pittman is gonna transfer from tOSU. Former top 100 recruit, I guess he didn't give his "110%" and Urban Meyer kinda nudged him out the door. Extremely talented freshman.

I awoke to the Twittersphere in disarray as rumors of Rushel Shell possibly transferring broke, though the reasons aren't known.

FWIW, Shell had nothing of consequence to add on his Twitter feed. And adding fuel to fire was that Shell reportedly wasn't at practice on Tuesday. And it wasn't confirmed if he'd be there Thursday by Paul Chryst.

There's no way to sugarcoat this. Will Pitt football live on if Shell transfers? Of course. But Shell is/was part of a younger group that was supposed to lead the Panthers' football program into the ACC. Pitt is relying on him heavily for next season - particularly to help an offense that could struggle a little in the passing game.

You can understand many transfers for a variety of reasons, but I just wouldn't get this one if it happened. Shell is the starting running back, so it's not playing time. He's also from here and has family here, so it's not to get closer to home. Frankly, I just wouldn't get it.

Pittsburgh has blocked Rushel Shell from rejoining former Pitt coach Todd Graham at Arizona State, according to multiple reports.

ESPN.com and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette both reported Friday that Shell has been blocked from transferring to Arizona or Arizona State. Shell has the right to appeal the decision, but Joe Schad is reporting that the sophomore running back is also considering Cal and UCLA.
