so what people want to listen to Maroon 5 as a warm up? around here, all we listen to is rap rap and more rap. i just know what i know. if someone was raised to like country music he aint gonna like rap, just how it is. i don't think either are crap. personally, i listen to plenty of music with the word **** in it. **** too... sometimes clusterfuck as well. i hate maroon 5 and just have lived life ignoring them.
i'm not white (you ******* racist). i like hip-hop (did you not see my post in the whats in your cd player thread of me saying GZA's liquid swords is one of the most underrated albums? unless you don't know who GZA is, if you don't, then don't talk anymore)... it's terribly ignorant to think someone is 'raised' to like a certain type of music. you're not 'raised' to like rap. i wasn't 'raised' to like... well... whatever my parents listened to (which was predominantly jazz, the rolling stones, and buddy holly)... i wasn't 'raised' to like what my peers like... no one is 'raised' to have certain music tastes. you choose to have them to fit in to wherever you go... my brother is pretty damn white... what does he listen to? much the same as you... what does he do? he's a mechanical engineer who rides a bicycle, likes gardening, and plays paintball in his spare time with some friends from work... he wants to listen to that, even though, i listen to 'certain things' of the hip-hop, rock, and electronic variety... my sisters listen to tons of folk and twee pop... if we're all 'raised' to like a certain type of music, families would listen to the same **** from top to bottom. and we don't.

i'm not saying rap is crap. you're saying rock is crap. lets just leave it at that.

although, this is not all that crappy...
