No team with Steven Jackson could ever go winless.
Stop using your reverse psychology yoda, so the Rams can go undefeated.

I love Aaron Kampman. I love bullrushing DEs. The quickest way to the qb is straight.
I expect Anthony Spencer of the Cowboys to have a breakout year. He wouldve had it this year if he played more snaps.
Im also expecting the Bills to take the next step.

thanks, Damix posted this pic in the Giants team discussion, i think its a good one too.
EDIT: Just look at the pass protection break down in that pic. Osi stunts inside and they have to pick him up with 2 guys, the LG is confused and gets beat with speed around the edge with Tuck, Strahan abused the RT, and Alford in his one on one matchup absolutely abused his guy and smushes Brady. And it just wasn't one guy, everyone won their individual matchup and it came from everywhere.
I never expected their oline to get whipped like that. That happened all game. And thats the best thing Spags introduced to our defense. The twisting and stunting our front 4 does. We do alot of that.
Everyone thinks we got pressure with blitzing in this game. Not true. Spags said we only blitzed 30-35% of the game. The rest of the pressure you saw was front 4 pressure. And alot of it came from our different twists and stunts.

I saw Justin Tuck do exactly the same thing to their LG (if forget his name), he just blew right past him, the guard was standing there like he just pulled his pants down! Good scheming by the G-Men, and bad O-Line play by the Pats...that was the difference in this game.

I predict that everyone (including myself) will pick the Bills to be a "sleeper" team, which means they will 3 games.

As for the Denver game: the Broncos should have gone for the win, right there near the goal, instead of tying it up imo.

Should have gone for the win? They were lucky to even get the tie. With like 20 seconds left from the 10 yard line Cutler ran it and the FG unit had to rush on because they had no timeouts left.

I predict that the Texans will finish second in the AFC South, go to the playoffs. I predict the other playoff team will be the Bills.
In no order:
Patriots
Colts
Steelers
Chargers
Bills
Texans

I have to agree with you there. I could see a better season than the one he put up in '06 under Turner which isnt saying much.

It is indeed tough to acheive a 16-0 season.
But it is ridiculous to say that the defense is old. The linebacker corps is old + Rodney Harrison.
Our DL is in his prime
The secondary is a mix of promising young (Brandon Meriweather, James Sanders) and of veteran (Rodney, Eugene Wilson). So, no, the defense is not that old....

NFCN Predictions:
Packers: 12-4
Vikings: 10-6
Bears: 8-8
Lions: 5-11
Packers win it again but it is a lot closer. Injuries could play a bigger role in 08, and they lose a couple close games now that teams respect them more and gameplan/prepare better. Have good overall talent, awesome depth, good teamwork without glaring weaknesses and the important elements are all there. However, face much more of an uphill battle next year than last. Offense consistently finds ways to score, though it may be in a lot of different ways. Defense is solid but struggles against elite receivers, doesn't get after the QB enough and needs Woodson/Harris to be healthy.
Vikings show a lot of potential but will get blown out once or twice and show they are only missing a few pieces to be a very competitive team. They are held back by mediocre/poor coaching and a defense that lacks a pass rush and the coverage skills to make up for it. Offense is a powerhouse but disappears in some games. TJack's play improves and their passing offense is average, most of the time. Defense also has potential but is hit or miss, it really depends on the offense they play against and whether or not they play to their strengths or weaknesses. Could come on strong at the end of the year and take the division if things go well.
Bears defense plays much, much better when healthy (esp Harris). They win a lot of games for them but lose whenever they play a team with a decent offense that doesn't turn the ball over. Their offense is a mess and only scores when Hester or the D puts them in great position. Have trouble establishing the run and passing game is inconsistent, but has the potential to develop a vertical passing game, if QB play is stable.
Lions play spoiler all season, just too little depth and coordination, and missing some important pieces. Offense can put up points and defense can make turnovers, but overall just lacking too much talent. Calvin Johnson and Roy Williams are dangerous at times, but disappear when the OL/QB fails them, and CJ only has to learn to catch better to be elite. Defense is often taken advantage of and they are constantly playing from behind.

I predict that despite winning the SB, the Giants won't be considered the favorite out of the NFC when the offseason is complete.
And thats just how i hope it turns out. Perhaps the team can get focused and stay motivated if no one respects them next year too.

I dont think there will be a clear cut favorite in the NFC. Green Bay, New York, and Dallas will be the favorite(s) but, there wont be a clear cut team, imo...unless that is, Jerry Jones does something huge this off-season.

Ha, it may seem like it. But there is a maximum of 6 primetime games a team can have in a regular season, and one of those 6 has to be on the NFL Network (otherwise the max is 5).

According to this, Giants and Cowboys share the same NFC-leading odds. Pats favored in the AFC and overall of course, with the Chargers second. Huh.

If the Rams address the offensive line right, I think they can make the playoffs. I like what Haslett is doing with the defense, it didn't make sense for them to interview Greg Williams.
But as of right now, I think Linehan is getting canned after this season.

There's no reason for them to be. They were the best team in the NFC this year, but that in now way ensures they'll be the best next year.
That said I can't think of anyone off-hand that I think is more talented. I predicted them to make the Superbowl before the playoffs started, though was obviously suprised like most that they took it to the Pats.
