Wallace Gilberry is a strongside defensive end, not a situational pass rusher. He is a good penetrator for tackles for loss and can get decent pressure, but he is not a good athlete and is suited more for the strong side. More of a good motor guy than a great pass rusher. Somewhat like Chauncey Davis but with a bit more playmaking ability and a little less of a base.
