Poker . . . because it isn't a sport. No athletic ability required.

I said baseball. It's the only real sport where you can be and overweight tub of lard and still make millions of dollars for swinging a stick at a ball. (see Bobby Bonilla)

This I agree with. Golf is stretching it for me too.

In my opinion, poker isn't a sport, and neither is golf. Something must have 3 things for it to be considered a sport by me.
1. There has to be athletic ability involved and a risk for injury. (Golf, poker out) Also, an animal or machine can't do the majority of the work. (Horse racing, NASCAR, polo out)
2. There has to be an OBJECTIVE winner. (Figure skating, diving, anything that's "scored" by judges out)
3. It has to be a game with rules and scoring. (Track, pretty much all racing out)
You can argue these if you want, but this is just what I consider to be the criteria for sports.

To me, track isn't a sport. It isn't a game. It meets 2 out of my 3 criteria. And don't get mad because I'm not saying that there isn't athletic ability involved, because there is. It just isn't a sport.

There is a scoring in track. It's the time. Same with swimming.

I'm saying that they aren't games though. Basically I'm saying a game is like something you can play with your buddies. Track and swimming however are closer to sports than figure skating and dance though.
