Favre's life after football
Was thinking this morning, will we see Favre still involved in football after his retirement, as a guy who loves the game so much he strikes me as the type that would like to...You see a guy like Troy Aikman who is in the booth, Dan Marino is on the cbs pre game show, Favre certainly would get the opportunity if he wanted it...Will he get in the booth at some point, wait and go the head coaching route, or will he stay in the background with his family like Joe Montana.

He'll disappear into the woods of Mississippi, that's my guess.

I think he will deff. stay in the backround with his family. Hes always had the image of being a family guy. He definitely has the charisma to succeed in the TV world but I just cant picture him doing it. He will stay on his farm enjoy mowing his lawn and spending time with his family while shooting a couple Levi Jeans adds here and there.

i could see him as an analyst
...broadcaster
...coach
....or just a crabby redneck sitting on his porch with a beer and a gun.

He won't follow in the footsteps of Marino and Aikman and head into the booth. Those two are "pretty boys" and love the attention of being an analyst/broadcaster but Favre is just a southern boy who will want to do his own this....mow his lawn

I agree. He was never one for making the good read and using textbook mechanics.

He would be a very good analyst. When I was little my grandpa got to golf with him, so I was able to hang out with him for a couple hours, and he was a funny guy.
That being said, no way he becomes an analyst. Like Drowe said, he is going to sit on his porch with a beer and a gun for whatever boy his daughters bring home.

He'll retire to Kiln, sit on his tractor and work on the bumper crop, drink beer, get re-addicted to vicodin, get clean of vicodin, and go huntin' with his friends.

Troy Aikman is definately, positively not an attention *****. He goes to great lengths to keep his life basically a secret.
I can see Favre as a guy being active in the community in both GB and Mississippi

Part of the reason why he retired was because he was sick of dealing with the pressure of being the QB of the Packers and he wanted to get away from the media. So I don't think he'll go into the booth. He'll just live at his home and take care of the land he has. That's Favre. He's a very simple guy when all is said and done.

BTW Drowe, I believe he's more of a archery hunter.
BYW no way he announces. Favre dosen't enjoy the limelight.

He'll do a few Wranglers commercials, sip a few beers, and watch the Pack.

I agree he'd make an awful QB coach, but the man could read a defense. He'd make a good QB coach if, and only if the team had a QB with his arm strength and playmaking ability, which has as much a chance of happening as me winning the lotto.

Don't be fooled boys. Favre has no problems with flaccidity. He would not make a good spokesperson. Brett Favre isn't hung like a horse, horses are hung like Brett Favre.
