AJ Feely to the Packers?
Taken from Profootballweekly
Sources have told PFW that there are grains of truth to the A.J. Feeley-to-Green Bay rumors. Kevin Kolb is expected to be promoted to back up Donovan McNabb, which would make Feeley an expensive No. 3. But you might add Minnesota, which seeks a veteran, to the list of teams interested, and, of course, Feeley knows Brad Childress’ system well from their days together in Philadelphia. Don't be surprised if something happens on or before Draft Day.
I personally think it would be a great pick up.

No thanks. Especially not if we have to trade for him.

We got a 2nd round pick (that we used on Reggie Brown) the 1st time we traded Feeley. We won't get that much this time, but the more draft picks the better.
And then we can resign Koy Detmer to be 3rd string/holder. The neck beard will return~!

I'd much rather sign a FA. I'm still holding out hope for Quinn Gray.

I like it if they don't give up too much for him. He should be a backup plan for Rodgers.
Jake Plummer makes the most sense to me.

I've been beating the Jake Plummer drum since the day Favre retired, but I'm afraid that the Snake isn't coming back to the NFL.

Didn't he retire because he didn't want to be a backup and wanted to start?

I haven't seen a whole lot of Gray, but I'm not sure he could operate a pure WCO.

yeah i didnt think of that.
What is everyone's thoughts on Sage Rosenfelds? He was solid in Houston in the WCO, and can be the game manager type they need. If theyre going to work out a trade, why not go after him?
Im surprised they didn't go after Todd Collins.

Been an unknown for too long. He should've gotten his shot a long time ago. He'd be a quality backup for the Packers, but given the Texans OL and the number of people they have on IR every year, I don't think they're lettin him go.

The rumor was that the Vikings tried to get him but Houston wanted a second for him. The most I'd want to spend on a QB through trade or the draft is a 5th otherwise just pick up a FA or two. Honestly if all we do is resign Craig Nall I'd be ok with that.

I'm sorry, but we don't allow kittens to play QB here in Green Bay.

I really hope that the Packers do nothing more than bring back Nall. One injury or a collapse by Rodgers and they will be in the cellar.

I doubt Houston lets him go, with Matt Schaub's injuries problems last year and the amount of success Rosenfeld had while playing for the injured Schaub. If we get Feely for a 6th(comp) or 7th then I would do it, if not, then no thanks.
