Harvey in the 1st to the Vikings is the perfect pick.

Exactly what I thought. They need to get to the QB, and Harvey is an elite pass rusher.

I'm not sold on Cherilus as a LT, so Chris Williams would def' be the pick there.

Good pick for Buffalo
Sweed would also be good there.

To me it was a toss up with CB and WR. I should have put Sweed there, but even though we are a cover 2, I think a lot of people are underestimating CB. There are seveal teams who run the cover 2 who have ball hawking, play making corners, and it is a must. I just think that DRC at 11 would be an awesome pick.

Exactly.
Just because we run a cover-2 doesnt mean that we cant go with a CB in round 1.
It is a major need for, and we need to address it early.

Ugh, I hate Cherlius. If the top olineman are not available, I believe they go BPA. If they do sign Justin Hartwig, then they will go BPA all draft long.

Meh, decent pick to the Chiefs. I think I'd prefer Dorsey there now and pick up an offensive lineman in the second round, but I can't complain too much.
Good mock overall!

What did you see that everyone else hasn't that will make Chris Williams fall out of round 1?

Brandon Albert at 14 is either
A) Too much of a risk if you think he's a LT.
B) Not enough value if you think he's a guard.

One of the main reasons is his versatitity. I realy think he could succeed and almost be a great help right away, even as a rookie. I think his athleticism and footwork is among the tops in the draft for OT and OG, and that helps him alot. Basically the fact that he is vesatile and a great athlete for his size bumps him up to the Bears.

I'd rather have the Jets trade down, but I don't see too many teams that would trade with them for McFadden so that is a good pick.

I don't like the Jaguars pick...Reggie Smith could fall all the way to the end of the second round...and with the Jag's glaring need at DE/DT why would you not give the Jags Merling?

Well, people are saying that his lack of workouts, I guess are going to drop him, but Im going to wait a while longer to see if it affects him. I liken Reggie Smith to a Brandon Merriweather. Just not as great an athlete. I think he will be a solid contributor where ever he goes. Merling will be next, if in so, Reggie Smith drops, but until I see more on him being negative, he's staying in the first round.

I didnt want to get into trades. But I think that NYJ almost has to go with McFadden if hes there. The Patriots are the Patriots and will be for a few more years, and Buffalo is gearing up as well. NYJ needs to grab whatever weapons are available to them.

Really? Well, I dont know how well you've been following, but the Patriots aren't going to draft someone who will sit on the bench in the first round. Look at their past drafts. Also, take note that they dont draft LB's in the first round. I dont know if your all over the Keith Rviers wagon, but he wont be taken at #7. Unless Gholston or Long fall which I didnt have them falling, then I see the Patriots going the DB route.

the same goes for chris williams who could start at either tackle or guard right away AND has far better long term potential at LT

DL is not a need for the Chargers because the starters are good and they re-signed both backup DEs. DB is far and away the most pressing need for the team and the best player in the draft for them in Phillips is still left.
