I honestly believe Manning has no faith in Stone Hands, and we know that if Manning doesn't have faith/confidence in a guy, good luck to him getting the ball. I'm not say it's right or wrong, but that's part of Manning's demeanor. He'll fixate on guys sometimes, or the opposite, even if it's detrimental.
But honestly, it looked like there were times last season where Manning was looking to and maybe even outright asking the sideline to bring Joe back in. You know it's bad when you wish for Dom Rhodes again.
Maybe the offense as a whole has some faith in the guy, I don't know. But given the above and what's recently happened, such that the franchise now doesn't have faith in the guy, it's done. The Colts can pick-up another JAG off the street who can look good in this offense.
Maybe explore some FA options. If Philly cuts Ryan Moats, he could be worth a look. LaMont Jordan will be cut by the Raiders eventually, I'd love to sign him as a back to pair with Addai.
There's also some potential FA options next year, JJ Arrington of the Cardinals will be available and would have more success in Indy than he did in Arizona, I think. The Colts could have had a high draft grade on him in 2005, so it could be worth exploring perhaps. Who knows, maybe the Cards cut Edge after this season.
