Marlin Jackson is pretty damn physical for a corner.

I think that Hall and Asante are a bit overrated but they probly still fit in the top ten.

The most underrated CB's in the NFL:
1. Chris Gamble
2. Cortland Finnegan
3. Nathan Vasher

Does Jammer still count as underrated? I've actually been seeing him catch praise, finally finally. The guy is a true cover corner, physical as all hell, and plays the run like a linebacker.

Glad Champ's still getting the good recognition.
First, though, I want someone to actually come out with clean evidence that the numbers being reported for Asomugha's 2007 are correct. I remember reading tons of info saying crazy stuff about Champ's 2006 season, very similar to the numbers being reported for Asomugha's 2007 season. Stuff I was hearing was he was thrown at only 35ish times, 4 completions against him. Obviously that was highly exaggerated, but still, his 2006 season was amazing to watch. 2005 was amazing as well.

I'm not sure why. Is he a really good guy or something? Because he is not a top 10 CB.

I think after this year Cortland Finnegan will be in most people's top 10 lists. I hope so at least.

He's only gotten praise recently because of the AFC Championship game. He's actually been playing at a high level the past 2 and half years.
Plus when your mentors are Ryan McNeill and Eric Molden during your rookie season, you're pretty much have to learn on the fly.

i'd say he is still underrated, considering that few ever mention him and i think he is a damn solid player that any team would love to have. Underrated is a word i would certainly use to talk about him.
Rodrick Hood is a solid corner who i would have to see more of to sense if he is a top 10 guy, but at this point i'd go against it. I haven't watched him a whole lot, so he could be one of those under the radar guys, or you could just be a Cardinals fan trying to pull a fast one.

actually he most definitely is
he was #3 last year in pass completion against him, and #1 in pass yards against per catch

Haha, I just noticed that too. It really is too bad, now we'll never know the true greatness of Craig Nall.

I think the secret to the greatness of Nall is it isn't actually there.
