Default Take a shot at the starting lines?

DE - McBride
DT - Dorsey
DT - Boone
DE - Hali

OT - Albert
OG - Waters
C - Niswanger
OG - Taylor (?)
OT - McIntosh

I think the hardest spot to guess is RG I'm thinkink Herb Taylor but not really sure.

I think are OT's spots are locked up not matter who plays LT or RT it will be Al and D-Mac.

I know people are high on Tank but I still don't feel he will be ready to start but I do think he will get alot more playing time with Boone moving around.

What Niswanger is that? Is that Rudy Niswanger from LSU?

Nice! Looks like KC is turning into LSU MidWest. Dorsey, Bowe and Rudy. Any more up there?

Wyndham hopes to escalate quickly but not get out of hand.

I'd like to see:-

LDE: McBride
NT: Tyler
DT: Dorsey
RDE: Hali

LT: Albert
LG: Waters
C: Niswanger
RG: no idea
RT: Richardson

I think we'll probably see:-

LDE: Boone or McBride ... I don't think the Boone thing is a complete mirage
NT: Edwards
DT: Dorsey
RDE: Hali

LT: Albert
LG: Waters
C: Niswanger or Smith
RG: Jones
RT: McIntosh

Here is my take on it.

Defensive Line:

DE: Tamba Hali
DT: Tank Tyler
DT: Glenn Dorsey
DE: Turk McBride (MAYBE Brian Johnston later in the year. He was a STEAL in the 7th. Could easily start for us before the year is out.)

Offensive Line:

LT: Branden Albert
LG: Brian Waters
C: Wade Smith
RG: Rudy Niswanger
RT: Damion McIntosh

The Chiefs have already said Rudy is the center and Rudy himself has talked about finally getting to play center for the Chiefs.

Rudy can also play RG pretty well, I believe wade smith is just trying out for center.

I really don't see why so many people (Not just on this board) think Tank Tyler will start I have yet to see him flash any thing.

I like him as well but as of now I don't see him beating out Boone if Boone stays at DT.

Easily? Nothing will come easy for a 7th round pick from a small school in his first year in the league, might he be able to do something? Sure, he obviously has the physical tools, but right now all he has shown is he has the tools. He hasn't put them together in the league, or even against top collegiate competition. Don't get your hopes up too high about Johnston.

Many draft experts and analysts (including our own Scott Wright) had him as a 3rd or 4th round value. 3rd and 4th round players can start on defenses, especially ones who have a hole there.

I used the word easily a little too loosely, but with our defensive coaching staff, I personally think he'll see the field sooner rather than later.
