I really had to narrow my list down a lot because I couldn't make a poll with as many options as I wanted. Here's the full list:
Harvard
Princeton
Yale
Columbia
Brown
Penn
Cornell
Dartmouth
MIT
Williams
Amherst
Middlebury
Bowdoin
Stanford
Cal-Berkeley
Duke
Washington University St. Louis
Chicago

All their schools are prestigious, except maybe the football school.
I personally went with Stanford because of the combination of athletics, academics and arts.

With that thought, I also would have to go to Stanford.

This is also beneficial to me, since this basically is the group of colleges I'm hoping to go to.
I've always wanted to go to Stanford, but now my list goes as follows (in order)
Stanford
Harvard
Dartmouth
Middlebury
Brown
What have other people heard about Brown? I've heard that you either love it or hate it.

Your welcome JJ, just figured I'd give you another option. But off of your list I'd choose Princeton or Harvard.

Not quite as athletic as Stanford, and they don't have Cali girls.

Princeton is the hardest to get into. Where i used to go to HS, Highland Park is ranked #15 HS in the nation, and the #1 guy got rejected.

HS I went to last year had a girl with 1600 boards get rejected at Harvard...
Guys, I know you all have loyalties to "your" school, but what I'm looking for is the university with the biggest "wow" factor. That is, when you say you graduated from/ are going to that you university people are really impressed.

Wow, you must be pretty smart. I'm hoping to get into Dartmouth. Did you already get into all of those schools? Or are you trying to come up with a single "reach" school to apply to next fall?
I'd go to Dartmouth. Just based on what I hear, it would be the least uptight of all the schools you mentioned.

It's kind of an artsy Ivy League in Vermont.

It's not really that artsy, and it's in NESCAC not the Ivy League.
I am probably going to look at all those schools. I do have pretty good grades and I go to an elite boarding school, I also have gotten really good test scores and am going to end up with about 10 APs...my rents went to Dartmouth. I like the school, but have never been especially attracted to it. When I visited Stanford and Harvard I got a feeling like I was visiting a special place...I'll apply to those schools in two years as I repeated my sophmore year.
