I'll have to keep my eyes peeled for that Allagash. Looks like that label says it's from Portland, Maine so it should be in a store close to me.

Without even trying it I'd say I agree with you on Blue Moon vs. other whites. The moon is good but I think it's similar to Sam Adams - a good beer, great marketing & distribution, but nothing that will blow you away. There's always better stuff for those adventurous enough to try them.

Not surprising. The Mews has a ton of stuff on tap and otherwise. If nothing else I can talk to the guy who does the ordering at my local liqour store. It won't be the first (or last) alcohol he starts stocking by request. Though I still haven't seen any Rogue brews in yet.

Coincidentally I just got this e-mail from one of my favorite beer bars.
