ranger's ok, but very boring. like rob said, racer 5 is probably a better intro to that 'standard' style ipa.

new belgium's seasonals are usually terrific, but given how poorly i've found fat tire travels, it's probably safer to ignore them if you're not in CO.

RPM was super good. If you can find it, I highly recommend it.

I can tolerate the XX amber. The lager is indeed terrible.

The amber was my favorite for a while. I will still drink Dos XX Amber...the green one...not so much.

Ranger is extremely boring IPA. Especially if you've already found you like Stone. Avery is better if you can get it out there. There are only a few non-Lips of Faith New Belgium beers I'd recommend. 1554 and Snow Day. The rest are really "meh" to "gross".
There isn't a bad Laguinitas beer, and you're in Pliny the Elder territory, I believe. It is the Holy Grail of IPAs. If you get Founders out there, Reds Rye is one of the best year-round 6-packs in the world. I also think Odell St. Lupulin may still be in circulation. That is a great beer.

Got ahold of some Harpoon IPA for the evening, which is one of the better IPAs I'm able to acquire. Something I would recommend to you Raiderz, as it is a solid IPA that isn't too overpowering like some can be for newbies. Probably not something you could get/want to get out where you live but maybe worth a shot if it's available. Sort of a "lighter" IPA IMO but has some very good flavors. Rather easy to drink for an IPA as well.

This guy comes into my dad's work and offers him boxes of beer for super cheap. My dad being who is can't resist and buys em. But he doesn't always like em and just leaves em there...this these. He drank half the box and the other half have just been sitting there not doing anything.
Can see why he left practically half the box though.

I hate Newcastle as a beer, but I love the team, so I drink it out of support whenever I'm at a bar for matches.
