Walker Released!
"PewterReport.com is reporting that the Buccaneers have released OT Kenyatta Walker. Walker, who finished the 2006 season on injured reserve with a knee injury, was targeted as a potential cap casualty. The move saves the Buccaneers $2.7 million. While Walker's rehab is progressing, the team feels comfortable with last year's second-round draft pick, Jeremy Trueblood, as Tampa Bay's starting right tackle. Trueblood started 11 games as a rookie in 2006."
I guess so, hopefully Petitgout is close to signing.

Wow this is kind of surprising. Looks like the Bucs have faith in Trueblood.
Does this realistically have anything to do with Petitgout. He plays LT and Walker plays RT so I don't know how this really interrelates.

I think so, in consideration of $'s at the OT position and overall depth.

Walker isn't much better than Trueblood and the Bucs save 2.7 mil; smart move

That is the greatest complement I have ever heard anybody give Walker.

I've never been happier. Some stupid team like the Cowboys will probably sign him.

Trueblood played well as a rookie. In time he will be a much better player than Walker ever was

While Trueblood will never be a top8 RT, i think he can be top 15 inthe league one day, and be an imposing presence on our oline
