I just found something...
http://sports.cbs2chicago.com/cfb/players.asp?id=125246
Punt Returns
2006 - 14ret - 170yds - 12.1avg - 1 TD
2007 - 2ret - 10yds - 5avg - 0 TD
kick returns
2007 - 9ret - 201yds - 22.3 avg
2008 - 12ret - 307yds - 25.6 avg
Interesting thing I found on him, he arrived at Oregon being only 16 years old. Is now 21 as a redshirt senior.

I'm not a huge Chung fan. I much prefer Delmas.

I would love Sintim clogging up the running lanes, but Im looking at more smaller/faster OLBers right now.

Weatherspoon is still one of my favorite OLB's. He just is always around the ball, can run and make tackles.
My favorite other than Aaron Curry.

Same for me.
Grady Junior would be Ron Brace but brace is actually somewhat mobile but will probably rise to the 2nd round.

I'd MUCH prefer Delmas over Chung. Chung can't cover for ****.
For example:
"Oregon S Patrick Chung had a terrible day. When it became obvious that he couldn't keep up in 1-on-1's he resorted to grabbing receivers jerseys from behind in an effort to slow them down. Let's just say he is better in-the-box."
On the other hand, Delmas does sound Milloy-like in one respect:
"I was very impressed with Western Michigan S Louis Delmas today. Even though he was sitting the session out in street clothes he still stayed involved, encouraging his teammates every time they came off the field. This kid is a leader!"
Elsewhere, per McShay:
"While Delmas (6-foot, 197 pounds) isn't nearly as big as Moore, he is still a tough run stuffer who flies to the ball and his instincts in coverage are outstanding."
Is Delmas now a first round prospect? I guess so. I still don't tremendously like the idea of having a rookie safety, but the only exception is a guy who's instincts are veteran in nature (kind of like Lofton at Mike). It's a possibility.
Currently, my preference of probably-available players:
Laurinaitis (Brooking junior, in a good way, as discussed above...)
Pettigrew (perfect all-round TE for our scheme)
Cushing (very. very solid in all respects)
Delmas (see above)
Mack (great C, but would probably still sit behind McClure for a year; could maybe push Dahl at RG for his first year...)
Loadholt (massive RT, and I'm sure Boudreau would make him more consistent)

Delmas is looking pretty good out there. His position is obviously a FS and we would most likely have to move Coleman to SS. And with the way his stock is going, he has become a 1st rounder. A strong combine and he might be out of our reach because of the somewhat poor S class.
To be honest, I am still a bit unsure about Laurainaitis. I am one of those skeptics that thinks that all Laurainaitis does is jump onto piles. And I do not know if his athleticism is for real or not. I wouldn't be upset if we picked him, but I would rather pick another player (Delmas).

Personally, I think that Delmas would play SS in a Cover 2. Yes, he's good in coverage, but he's not a center-fielder type. He flies to the ball-carrier and has plenty of power in the tackle.

I definitely perfer Delmas, as I said I think he is the most likely pick at the moment. But Chung could do what Milloy did this year with a bit more speed.
Actually reminds me of Rodney Harrison, Chung that is.

Oh, and why does Thomas DeCoud not get a mention?
I like Delmas, but DeCoud also has all of the tools. He was a third round pick.

We always get into it with these safetys, like mays, johnson, moore, now delmas, chung. Down the road someone always mentiones DeCoud. I really like him and I think he could become a starter, being behind milloy for a year had to have helped him. I like how he played at the end of the year on special teams and all. For safeties I think we sign a lesser known guy in the FA and have DeCoud compete with him rather than spending a high pick on a guy when we have some pretty big needs.

He couldn't get the start over Jammal Fudge against the Rams.

That is a great point. Now looking back, that pisses me off. Well Jammal Fudge played under Mike Smith in Jacksonville so he kinda had an unfair advantage over DeCoud there. Mike Smith had more trust in him than some rookie.

Also, DeCoud was being prepared for FS, not SS. Putting a rookie in is one thing. Putting a rookie in at a different (albeit similar) position is entirely another.
DeCoud is definitely in the equation. It's possible that they have in mind for Coleman to shift over to SS (though he lacks a little umph for that position, IMO...), and give DeCoud a shot at FS.
But we have no idea how DeCoud did in practice last year, so there's not much chance for us to rely on him in our projections.

Fudge was the backup at strong safety and had experience with Mike Smith at Jacksonville. In hindsight that was the obvious move.

Oh damn. Leroy Hill faces misdemeanor pot charges. I was really hoping we could land that guy.

Hmm, that is rather annoying. Still, smoking a little pot in the offseason is not exactly disastrous. Might even drive his price down...

Incidentally, it's almost impossible to even begin speculating as to the draft until we see how FA turns out... there are so many options, and potential needs, we won't really have a clue until then.
I expect us to come into the draft with only one real need, and a couple of positions needing youth and depth.

I hope so. Honestly I think its gonna come down to whether we think raji can fall to us b/c if not we will have to make a push for Fat Albert.
Also Dansby should be on radar but like you said we will have to wait and see.

I agree :)
But let's hope the FO doesn't see this as a huge deal.

How about Nic Harris as a WLB guy? I mean if we solve the NT issue with a real solid player (hopefully) he doesnt have to get off blocks 24/7. IMO he is 3rd round value right now. He is 1 inch shorter and only 7lbs ligher than Laurenitis and you can bet he will be solid in coverage and has the frame to get bigger.
Also Dansby is a WLB with the Cardinals, wed deffinately have to pay overs for him and i dont think id like to do that and then put him in a new position. I dont think we would persue Leroy Hill after the bad news either. Who are some other big thumping SLB in FA?... Bart Scott...but he gives me Hartwell flashbacks

Dansby is a versatile guy. He has played MLB and SLB too. Maybe even some 3-4 LB position, I can't remember.
And once again, I hope those pot charges dont sway us too much about Hill.

Yeh but whether your against it or not, you need to look at it from the viewpoint that the player is getting paid lots of money just to play a game..he should consider himself fortunate and be able to avoid decisions like that even if he believes there is nothing wrong with what he is doing, the fact is his coaches wouldnt approve of it, he knows that and he still went and made that decision.
In 2008 the falcons took the "cleanskin" route it worked well, as much as it might make things harder, and i might not agree with it, im not going to complain if we reject guys who make dumb decisions off the feild...IMO we are more likely to avoid a guy cause of that than to avoid a guy who gets too fired up on the feild (Haynesworth)

Yup, this off-season will be a little bit easier, but still there is a lot of work to be done.
Im confident in him and the rest of the staff.
