Please throw the goddamn football. I can't stand them stacking 8 and us running.

I hate that we are not closing this game out. Twice inside the 20 and 2 turnovers and a missed field goal.

Dude, we're just trying to get out of this game healthy now. We're not going to be throwing the ball much, and you need to watch your mouth. That's completely uncalled for.

Smitty said to sustain, but we are really doing anything but. Super conservative.

That should have been flagged for holding on Nicholas anyway, watch it again, you'll be pissed. That shouldn't have happened, and yes, Jamaal blew that play, didn't hold contain at all. But who would have after not seeing them run all day? Good playcall, bad execution, Erik Coleman erases it all.

Could it be any more obvious Abraham isn't in? We are god-awful without him.

Hopefully we see the foot on the gas a little. I will not be happy. We are playing soft defensively now, and settling for quick drives, when we should be building momentum.

Ya, but I want everyone healthy. Its worth it, let some guys get some plays in case people do get hurt.
Snelling running well in garbage time, solid 3rd stringer.

I didn't want Abraham in, but we are just so bad without him.

What a day for the Defense...Only 77 yards givin up, on the field for just under 15 minutes.
Net 10 Yards passing and 67 yards rushing. That will help the defensive ratings a lot. Not like they were challenged though.

No we don't, we need to go 2-1 in those games, if we can get 3 in a row, then wow, but we don't have to. 7-4 will be just fine, but 7-3 is still very likely, if we can hold serve at home against Carolina then at 8-3 we're a virtual lock for the playoffs but I'm thinking 7-4 is going to look very nice.

We have to win our next 2. We cannot slip up against a division rival at home nor can we allow ourselves to lose to the Broncos who have the most woeful defense ever.
With the way we are playing and our homefield advantage + NFC south road troubles, I would love to take that Panthers game. I do not expect to win, but theres a chance we can pull out. It would be terrific if we did, but who knows.
I have no idea about the rest of the schedule, but we can't lose to the Bucs at home or slip up agaisnt St. Louis as the last game of the year. Minny and NO will be toss ups.
Playoffs are possible.

I would like to say this team is going to be very good. The offense is going to be very, very good. The future is bright.

Agreed. We did enough today to get the W on the road, even though the second half was uber conservative.
Offense can be elite w/ 1-2 players and Defense can only get better. W/ the chance that our Offense has to be elite, the D will only have to maintain and let our Offense put points on the board.

If he does enough to make teams put eight in the box I am sold. He may not have ran effectively on the Bears or Eagles, but he sure made it easier for Matt Ryan by getting the attention of the opposing defense.

We don't NEED to go 3-0 though. It would be very nice to pull that off though. I still think 10-6 can take this division.

I highly doubt 10-6 will be enough to take the division to tell you the truth. I think the Bucs will at least go 4-3 over the next 7 weeks, I also expect at least 10 wins out of Carolina.

10-6 will get the division crown, whether or not it comes down to head to head record or record against opponents, I think the only team with a shot at 11 wins is Carolina and they're going to have a pretty tough run coming up after their bye week.
Problems I see for Atlanta is that if these suspensions don't hit then New Orleans is going to have 2 full weeks of prep for the Falcons. While I think we're going to have the upper hand since we'll be at home and we'll be pumped after pitching a shutout, they have a great coach who will come up with a good offensive gameplan no matter who he has out there. Obviously Denver can score with anyone, but they're going to have their struggles against Atlanta at home, then we have Carolina at home. I think we've got a pretty tough schedule ahead, but to think that we can't go 5-3 over the second half of the season I'd say I was being a little bit of a pessimist. I see the Vikings as a tough matchup since they can run the ball extremely well. I see St. Louis as one of those teams just looking to rain on someone else's parade at the end of the season. We're not going to have a team resting their starters.
So, 10-6 is possible, like I said all along, there are 10 winnable games on Atlanta's schedule. I need to look ahead at Tampa's schedule a little better.
Games Tampa COULD/Should lose
Minnesota (even if you are at home)
Saints (I know @ Ray Jay again)
@ Carolina
@ Atlanta
Chargers
The other games I'd go ahead and chalk up Ws. I just hope Detroit can 'strike' against you guys to get off the snide against you guys, but I don't see that happening. Of those games, You'll prolly take at least 2 of those games as Ws as well. Leaving you as a 10-6 team at best, but at worst 8-8. Pretty respectable, but your offense is really going to bite you in the butt as your defense is going to wear out sooner rather than later. I've said it all along that the Panthers are the top of the NFC South, Falcons have a shot at second place, and the Bucs would end up third or last. Without the Saints being banged up etc, I feel like the Bucs would finish last. IF they finish 8-8 they could...tough division.
