Marques Colston Out 4-6 Weeks
Quote:
|
FOXSports.com has learned that the Saints have lost their top receiving weapon, Marques Colston, to a torn ligament in his left thumb. Colston, in fact, quietly had surgery on Tuesday to reattach the ligament and will miss the next month to six weeks.

Makes me want to cry on the inside a bit. :( :(

Another injury to a big name player. Ouch.
Hopefully he can make it back onto the field soon.

Your sig needs editing. It's Marques, not Maques.

Yeah all we need now is an offense and a secondary and we will be set, lol. I do think however we will shut down Reggie Bush. Brees and us scoring more than 3 points, that's another issue.

David Patten and Devery Henderson should be able to step in and get more than one catch also.

What the ****! He is one of my favorite players! And on my fantasy team! It does help our chances of beating the Saints though. Hope he recovers fast.

If Meachem continues to play like he did in preseason, he's going to be a monster

And it's probably more 6-8 weeks than 4-6 weeks.
And if the Saints didn't acquire Shockey they'd be ******.

Yeah sadly this could be a great thing for the Saints. It will force their young guys to step up. Hopefully they rise to the challenge
