Harris sounds confident.
Quote:
"I can say this: I think this is a much better game-plan (this week)," Harris told reporters in Green Bay. "This is the best game-plan that we've had since I've been here, in this scheme. I honestly think that. And you can quote me on that. After the game, you won't even say anything. You'll just smile and know what I'm talking about."
And Harris wanted to make sure folks knew that it wasn't his fault that T.O. put up big stats against the Packers.
"Do you remember the last game?" Harris asked, calling it "the game that I had two interceptions" even though one was nullified. "Let me ask you a couple questions: How many yards did T.O. have? 156. How many catches? Seven. How many did you see me around him? Three. That should tell you right there if they had a great game plan for what we were doing. You've got to read between the lines on the rest."

I really hope Grant and hopefully Wells are fit. Our ground game needs to be active in order for Rodgers and co to continue with their current form.

I think that people will realize soon that Rodgers is the kind of QB who can can carry a team on his shoulder without a running game . The guy is that smart and talented. Its not ideal but he's capable.

That one was a hard play, but Jones has been dropping a lot of balls this season.

So seeing as im a packer fan from NYS and cant see all the games or hear all the news. How come Chillar is playing more than Poppinga? I thought Poppinga was declared the starter?

That will be a huge boost. Moll has been bad as a starter. Poor showing by the offensive line tonight.

GG guys, sucks that Al Harris didn't get to play the entire game but Woodson played great on his side of the field...Rogers didn't make any crucial mistakes and played smart for the most part, he still looks like a guy who can win a playoff game this year, Grant just has to get going the way he was last year, as of now Jackson is running like he wants more snaps.
Look forward to the rematch in the playoffs.

I was more worried about Romo and Witten tonight, I figure TO would break loose for a couple, I was very surprised how well Woodson played. Aaron was not helped out by our Oline which is average and continues to hold people all over the field.
I think Ryan is still hurt, Jackson looked pretty good tonight, I'd like to see more snaps given to Jackson this up coming week.
The biggest thing in a rematch would have to be rush defense. Barber and Jones were very good tonight. This game was lost in the trenches tonight, the packers, at this point, don't have anyone who can match-up to the size and speed the Cowboys have on both lines.

I agree with Rock...our offensive line is very average this year and have failed to gel. Other than our tackles...it seems we have a new pair of starting guards every week. Wells is still not fully healthy either.
Aaron has been fantastic thus far. He has made our O-line look much better than they are with his scrambling and evasion ability.

coach Mike McCarthy said trainers held Harris out because of blood in his urine.
Safety Nick Collins also left the game, returned and left again for good with a bruised back.
Cornerback Charles Woodson sat out the Cowboys’ final series to rest the broken toe on his right foot, which he said was “hurting” after the game.
Receiver James Jones didn’t sound optimistic about his troublesome right knee after tweaking it when he fell on the game’s first play.
“It messed me up,” Jones said. “I don’t know how bad it is, but it’s hurting.”
|
Wow, weak.

some thoughts.
-Marion Barber is too good. and Barber/Felix is so scary it should be illegal. if those 2 stay healthy, the 'Boys are winning the superbowl. that's my prediction. i was that impressed.
-i took some consolation in the fact that TO didn't do a damn thing.
-come back Scott Wells.
-another game, another mistake free performance from Aaron Rodgers...well, he made some mistakes, but he got away with 'em. but, still. dude is playing smart.

tough loss, the cowboys o-line just amazed me for much of the game. I dont think our d-line was bad or anything, they were working hard and never gave up on plays which resulted in some pressure, but for a while we couldnt do anything to that o-line.

from McCarthy's press conference:
http://blogs.jsonline.com/packers/ar...r-cowboys.aspx
really worries me that they're still doing tests on Harris and dont know what it is yet. From this and the blood in the urine and body cramping up during the game, doesnt sound like a regular-type injury. Seems weird.

The whole situation sounds pretty serious, might be something wrong with his kidneys.
