I think John Abraham should be in the conversation for DPOTY. He sits alone at the top with 4 sacks and a FF (which was in the redzone) while playing on a defensive line that hardly creates any pressure (though Jonathan Babineaux is very underrated)

But 3 of his sacks were against the Lions. I think that any offensive or defensive stats put up against the Rams and Lions this year should just be ignored.

meh...if you want to get into insanely early MVP/award talk. Romo would be a, or the front runner. With no Brady, Romo probably becomes the very early favorite to win the MVP this season.

and of course...Ware and Owens should be in the offensive and defensive player of the year award races all year.
