I think John Abraham should be in the conversation for DPOTY. He sits alone at the top with 4 sacks and a FF (which was in the redzone) while playing on a defensive line that hardly creates any pressure (though Jonathan Babineaux is very underrated)

if the lions manage to drag out more than 3 wins:
MVP: Calvin Johnson (nobody would be more valuable if that happens)
otherwise (and more likely)
MVP: Adrian Peterson
OPOY: Jay Cutler
DPOY: unsure, I'll go with Justin Tuck
OROY: Matt Forté
DROY: Chris Long

But 3 of his sacks were against the Lions. I think that any offensive or defensive stats put up against the Rams and Lions this year should just be ignored.

I do not want to even imagine our pass defense without John Abraham. Inexperienced CBs + decent safeties in coverage + terrible pass rush = worst pass defense ever.

Yeah. Abe played all 16 last year after working a bunch on core training. Hopefully it keeps up.

Well since I will just keep updating every week, if the season ended today these would be my picks:
MVP: Aaron Rodgers
OPOY: Brian Westbrook
DPOY: Cortland Finnegan (homering it but 2nd most pass def and 1st in ints)
OROY: Darren McFadden
DPOY: Jerrod Mayo
Will update next week, because things could change and so could my mindset

meh...if you want to get into insanely early MVP/award talk. Romo would be a, or the front runner. With no Brady, Romo probably becomes the very early favorite to win the MVP this season.
and of course...Ware and Owens should be in the offensive and defensive player of the year award races all year.
With so much talent....Cowboy homers can predict wins for Romo, Owens, and Ware and not sound so crazy anymore. Tis a nice thing.
