I'm usually the exact same way, but for some reason I was OK with Borderlands. I guess, now that I think more on it, playing through by myself was just OK, but once some friends of mine got it as well and we started looting **** together it got really fun.

In more "it's coming to consoles news, it appears Diablo 3 will be joining The Witcher 2.

I don't like that. D3 is OURS (PC gamers). Oh well...obviously, as with all other games, it won't be close to as good on the console.

Torchlight is coming out next month on the Xbox Live Arcade and has by all accounts managed to solve the controller issues admirably.

Personally, I think the most exciting part of this is the PC/Console war ******** that's going to erupt all across the internet. Always enjoyable stuff.

Put Diablo 3 on consoles and let us party up with at least 3 other friends.

A duel mode would also be cool. That way people can actually settle whose character can whip whose ass.

So can someone explain to me what the **** this problem is with my 360, because it's pissing me off.

I have a HD TV. The HDMI cable is set to HD, but it will only play in standard definition. I tried putting it on every resolution, but on every setting the picture is just a jumbled mess.

its been a few years since i had to use that, but i think i had to leave the yellow cable unplugged...pretty sure anyway.

if its the actual hdmi cables then i have no idea

Yeah, everything all set up correctly, it's just not working. Maybe it's a TV issue.

Have you changed around the tv picture settings on your xbox settings? 1080p, 1080i, and I think another option. Have you switched through those? I think that's all I had to do, I took out my component wires and only use an hdmi cord(did you disconnect the component wires also?), and when I got my picture settings correct I was good to go.

Speaking of Borderlands; been going through it again for the past few days. Soloing this time, which is a very different experience versus playing co-op like I did last time and it's more enjoyable for me at least. That has more to do with the split screen factor I was dealing with at the time though haha.

that is not an HDMI cable that is a composite HD cables.

HDMI cable is this

Should have came with your 360 its usually gray.
As far as what you have, make sure the right colors are lined up, and after you turn to the HD setting on the wires, go to the xbox settings, then display. Make sure it has changed there.

Some older models of the 360 don't have HDMI out.

The composite cables, in my experience, have some weird kinks to them. My friend uses them and they work perfectly for him, but I had to go buy an HDMI for my 360 because of a similar problem to what ATL described. If you can use an HDMI, I would recommend giving that a shot.

My main team is Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Hulk. Taskmaster, Super-Skrull and Trish is another team I use often. I play around with all the characters quite a bit though.
