I'm lefty. I do everything lefty except play hockey. When I was little some evil person forgot I was left handed and for my birthday got me my first hockey stick, but got a righty stick. I just learned to play with it. Now playing hockey lefty is extremely awkward for me and I can't do it.

We are the most unrepresented minority in the country. But at least we have our own beer.

My grandfather wrapped a rope around my body and had my right hand inside. He then made me hit left handed with only my left hand. It worked out OK, I hit for average well enough when I hit lefty, just not for power.

As a proud lefty myself it does really bother me when my mate at work leaves the mouse on the left hand side of the keyboard, or even worse switches the button config thingy. I mean come'on, no wonder right handed people hate us, use the computer like a normal person!!!

Writing and 'the all time number 1' are about the only things I do left handed in fairness (if you need to ask, you dont need to know).

Yeah, using your other hand for hockey isn't that odd. Hockey and lacrosse are the only things I do as a lefty.

Inorder to avoid the smear, i turn my paper completely 90 degrees so the lines are perpendicular to me. And then I go about writing normally.

Still when writting fast and i forget to turn my book, it smears.

And my parents tried to force me into right handedness, when i was much younger.
