Wow. You know, as much as I dislike the Cowboys, I can't help but like Tony Romo. And this just makes it harder to hate him.

There are a lot of guys like this around the NFL, when Warner 1st came to Arizona i basically hated him but charity event after charity event after charity event you can't help but start to love these players. It's too bad that ESPN only plays 1 feel good story a week as apposed to running non stop stories about Pac-Man, Mike Vick or what ever degrading story they got for the week

Its more of the gesture i guess, the act of good will which sadly is disappearing now a days.

This might seem small, but just think about what this probably means to the homeless guy, love to hear about people doing small gestures that mean the world to someone else, no matter who it is, Warrick Dunn, Tony Gonzalez, alot of good hearted NFL players out there.

A couple bucks is nothing for Romo, obviously. But to invite him to sit with him and his buddy during the movie was a pretty cool thing to do. Things like this and helping the couple change their tires earlier this seasons makes it hard to be pissed at him when he plays like ****. I probably still will, but I'll try not to curse him as much.

They play far more than that and I can't stand it. I hate when ESPN does that crap. Stick to the sports, not what happens off the field.

He's putting out this nice guy image, but I guarantee he has at least 6 dead bodies buried in his backyard.

NFL players do this all the time. As of now Romo is the one to get publicity for it.

Damn. I was about to come here and complain about having another Cowboys topic, but that was real nice of him. I like him a lot as a player, and not just cause of stories like these. He seems like a genuinely good guy who plays and has fun.

This is true, and the football Drew Henson is one of them.

Romo is really stepping up as a leader and example for this team both on and off the field. There's a reason why this makes news. ...it's not the norm. Romo is a great example for all of us.

He's the anti-Brady in some aspects, and that's why I love him.

In a book I recently read Casey Hampton's brother talks about how Big Snack changed some random woman's tire on the side of the highway in Texas.
Funny how it wasn't on ESPN for a week.

Reminds me of when UBER DOUCHE BAG Drew Rosendouche revived that kid who drowned.
Romo seems like an unlikely superstar, seems like that geeky kid on the football team who no one thinks would kick ass.
I dunno how anyone couldn't like the dude banging jessica simpson.
