Wilkinson traded, Vickerson not coming back

Big Daddy was traded to Denver for a 6th rounder and Vickerson isn't going to be brought back. Traylor really needs to come back or we are in trouble. Hopefully the Wright's and Evans are ready to go next year.

i saw the wilkerson thing but where did u see that vickerson isnt coming back??

i really like him and although he didnt have ideal NT size, he was said to be able to play it...if traylor goes somewhere else, we are gonna be in big trouble for 3-4 packages...

It was at the bottom of the Kevin Carter/Jeno James article. I was really shocked to read that after the article about the coaches loving him, and he was a ERFA so we could have had him for the minimum.

I dont get the vickerson move, that one confuses me as he looked good when he got playing time last year.

I don't get the Vickerson move simply because we could have had him for practically nothing. There obviously has to be some issue that we're not aware of here, but I'm definitely confused.

yea i think we are all confused on vickerson...there just doesnt seem to be a reason to non-tender someone with talent at a position of need that is going to have a minimum contract...
