Detroit will be winning and then fate will intervene on the last play of the game and they'll lose.

I'm not very knowledgeable about the Lions at all and rarely follow them if I ever follow them at all but they just don't play with heart. It seems like the team has just given up. I don't see anyone flying to the ball on defense and their offensive line blocking is terrible.
You just need to overhaul the entire staff. The entire coaching staff needs to go and front office needs to be cleaned out.

Ernie Sims has been largely terrible this year (although most Lions fans haven't noticed this fact). And while the Lions have some players that would fit in a 3-4 (Francis, Avril, Redding), they don't exactly have enough talent to convince anyone of a switch.

You have to admit Ernie Sims has talent though.

Yeah.. the lack of Shaun Rogers is making pretty much everyone on Defense play about 10 times worse than last year.

Why's that? We have a lot of talent, we're just not using it correctly right now. I'd be curious to know why you made that statement. :)

The Packers broke their pregame huddle with "0-16" on three.

My apologies to all Falcons fans for thinking the Lions were going to be better than them. Whoops.

Lions' fans in section 129 at Lambeau had shirts that said....
Preseason: 4-0
Regular Season: 0-16
Perfect Season!

The Lions will go down as the worst team ever record wise, but I don't think they are the worst team in NFL history. There have been some 1 and 2 win teams that were worse than Detroit was this year.

Was Miami of last year worse?
I say no, but it's close. They really did luck into their only win.

No, Miami was quite a bit better. They lost 6 games by a field goal or less in 2007. The Lions only lost 1 game this year by 3 points or less, and they lost another 2 games by 4 points.

The Dolphins were much more competitive than the Lions. The Lions didn't just get beat, they got raped. The Phins stayed in it at least, even near the end of the season. They were competitive, and that leads me to believe that they did more than luck into a win. They were just simply bound to get one eventually because they stayed in it and had kept it close all year. The Lions seemed to give up altogether.
