Id so much rather have the bye. Its a huge advantage. Teams just have to find a way to get ready for their games. The Giants, Titans, and Panthers all played sloppy.

I wonder if it has more to do with resting your starters the last week of the season. Has that ever worked? Both the Titans and Giants played back-ups week 17. The only year the Colts won it all was the year they had to play all 16 weeks. Im thinking that has more to do with it.
