I'd trade Lendale White for him.

In this instance, they wouldn't be keeping him just because of his past, LT can still perform at an above average level. He's not the MVP he once was, but he's infinite times better than anything the Chargers can put back there as a #2 RB.

I find it funny that people are willing to throw Michael Bennett out there should something happen to Sproles. Thing is, Sproles' role is perfect right now. With a healthy Tomlinson, you can use him and keep him fresh everywhere on the field. Not just at running back. Look at the amazing play he made in the slot today. Just blew right by everyone. You can't do stuff like that when you need to have him doing all the regular RB stuff.

Tomlinson isn't going anywhere.

I think if we re-sign Sproles or acquire another quality running back and give them more playing time, it should preserve LT at least another couple years. We'll see what transpires in the off-season, but I can guarantee you that if LT gets traded there's going to be riots in the streets and I might join in.
Hey, I hear ya chief. We went through that only WORSE this August, September, til now with Favre. Imagine that. That was ugly.
It divided us fans. It divided familes.
I have a huge family, 8 aunts/uncles on one side with my mom. I've never heard old women b**** about one side or the other like that. One was so against Favre for the way that he's hemmed and hawwed. Another was so furious at Ted Thompson. Then the new QB played great but the defense sucked.

That's the power back that the Chargers could use to compliment Sproles/Bennett. Fresher legs. Still draft another guy in round 3 or 4 who can beat out Bennett.

If by power you mean one yard and a cloud of dust, then yes, he'd be a great power back for them. In fact I'd trade them Lendale for a draft pick and then just hope we sign Brandon Jacobs in FA.

I think you guys are failing to see the amount of money Tomlinson makes the Chargers.

He's their "Big name" offensive player. And as such he puts butts in seats. Even if he missed the last 2 Post seasons he won't be leaving.

Wait a minute.
What happened to all the talk about "smash & dash", or "thunder & lightning" when the Titans were undefeated?
The media said these 2 were the best duo in the NFL while the Titans were the NFL darlings.

What happened?
LenDale overeat?

I was asking fans of teams who need a RB what they would pay for LT.
Apparently that's too hard for some people to grasp. Especially the grapes.
Montana took his 2nd team to a Championship game.

Lotta interest in LT from the Giants camp.

Where are the Brown fans, or Lions fans?
Seahawks? I bet they learned their lesson though with Alexander.

Argue or not that they'd ever trade LT or not, you have to admit there don't seem to be a lot of suitable trade partners for an almost 30-year old RB with a big cap #.

of course there's interest in LdT from Giants fans(not camp, this is the most ridiculous trade idea I've heard in some time). He's an excellent RB who'd rape bitches behind our excellent run blocking OL.

Giants fans also have a lot of interest in Calvin Johnson. I mean the Lions aren't winning with him so they should so trade them! lolz
