They've already sputtered, and yet the team has won on the road against the #3 and #1 seeds in the conference. Yes, the defense is playing that damn well. More importantly, while the offense hasn't been stellar, they are running the ball and therefore chewing up clock.
Here are the most important stats for the Eagles this post-season.
12-28 on 3rd down (42.8%)
27:54 and 29:45 in TOP. Very good for an Eagles team.
+1 in turnover margin.
IIRC, the Eagles haven't turned the ball over on their side of the field except for Robbins' INT yesterday.
David Akers is 7-7.

So all of those metrics points to the fact that the Eagles have been efficient with ball control and field position, with the occasional big play. They haven't exploded, but no one explodes on the Giants and Vikings D's...

I think it will be Steelers-Eagles, but I'm hoping for Steelers-Cardinals, because I like the Steelers chances much better against the Cards. That match-up with the Eagles earlier this year was UGLY.

Steelers vs Eagles is my guess, with the Steelers winning.
Kurt Warner and the Cardinals have stunned a lot of people in the playoffs, but Warner needs time to be successful and the Eagles love to Blitz and are a great Blitzing team. Just can't see Warner doing well in that game.
Steelers and Ravens is going to be a great game, I love watching both defenses. I'm going with the Steelers because of Ben Roethlisberger, he will find a way to lead the Steelers to a victory.

Exactly, they haven't had huge games, but the Giants D and the Vikes D are two of the best in the league, at least top 10 I think (If you take out the Vikes Pass D they'd be very, very high). The Cards Defense, though it is playing better since the playoffs started, aren't the calibur of the Viking or Giants.
