Sorry Ravens, Good luck?
"During World War II, the team experienced player
shortages and were twice forced to change their name. A merger with
the Eagles left them commonly known as the Steagles"
"Later merger with the Cardinals was known as Card-Pitt."
Dan Rooney, Jeffrey Lurie, and Bill Bidwell have gotten together and decided that it is time to remerge and create the Card-Steagles. The Super Bowl will now be played this Sunday in Tampa Bay at 6:30 PM, showcasing the Ravens vs. the Card-Steagles. Here is to you Ravens! Good luck.
The depth chart will be decided by the three head coaches later this week.
Card-Steagles:
QB: Donovan McNabb/Ben Roethlisberger/Kurt Warner
RB: Brian Westbrook
RB: Willie Parker
WR: Larry Fitzgerald
WR: Anquan Boldin
WR: Hines Ward
WR: Desean Jackson/Santonio Holmes
TE: Heath Miller
OT: Tra Thomas
OG: Todd Herremans/Reggie Wells
C: Jamaal JAckson
OG: Shawn Andrews/Deuce Lutui
OT: Levi Brown/Jon Runyan
Let's run the 3-4, just for fun!
DE: Darnell Dockett
NT: Casey Hampton
DE: Aaron Smith/Broderick Bunkley
OLB: James Harrison
ILB: Karlos Dansby/Stewart Bradley
ILB: James Farrior/Gerald Hayes
OLB: LaMarr Woodley/Trent Cole
CB: Asante Samuel
CB: Ike Taylor
CB: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie
CB: Sheldon Brown
SS: Troy Polamalu/Adrian Wilson ( :o )
FS: Brian Dawkins
K: Neil Rackers/David Akers
P: Sav Rocca
KR: Steve Breaston
PR: DeSean Jackson/Santonio Holmes
This is all for fun! I couldn't sleep due to being pumped up about football. It has been a great season so far and these next two games should be AWESOME.

Man, this super bowl is going to suck for me. I don't care at all for any of the teams left and I highly doubt this years super bowl is as exciting as last years. Not to mention the fact that it's all sour grapes anyways because the Titans blew a really good chance.

Just root for the Card-Steagles and let the pain go away.

Asante, Ike, DRC, Troy P and Dawkins...if u could build a secondary to try and stop anyone u really couldnt do much better. i'd fear for anyone going over the middle with troy P and Dawkins

Maybe because Polamalu is in a system that is practically taylor made for his abilities and that allows him to freelance all around the field doing whatever he pleases? Admittedly, there is less of that now then there was in Cowher's heyday, but come on, give some other premier safeties that kind of freedom with that kind of pass rush, they will put up nice numbers too. Trust me, if Troy Polamalu didnt have huge long hair which makes him more recognizable to average fans, he wouldnt be nearly as well known.

yea and that doesnt show that he is great...
i mean he is at the line of scrimmage before the snap, as soon as it is snapped he runs all the way back into coverage and affects the play. he also has like 0.5 seconds to decide if its run or pass and he hardly makes msitake

I agree with quite a lot of that but Wilson doesn't have the same range as Troy. I would take Adrian Wilson pass rushing over pretty much any other safety and he is great in the box. But Polamalu can do everything and everything well. Still not a patch on Ed Reed though but different

Rumor is the Card-Steagles will use Wilson and Polamalu in a rotation.

Nice. Big nickel packages as well with Polamalu, Wilson and Dawkins.

Harrison and Woodley off the edge with Dawkins, Polamalu and Wilson in the secondary=poor throw and Derrick Mason broken in half

Actually he would because he is a Tiny God.
I'm officially rooting for the Steelers to win the SB now because god damnit if Matty and Carson aren't going to bring home a ring then Troy sure as hell better win 2 of them.
Although I must admit Kurt Warner still gives me warm fuzzies.

That's probably the only way the Eagles could win a superbowl.
