Yes he did they were considering him very hard its was on NFL.com and ESPN
They were going to hire him because he helped the Dolphins turn around or was part of the turn around.

It was actually reported that he came in second to Schwartz. We also interviewed Leslie Frazier.

I'll first say that I like Schwartz and the hire, but Skip Bayless made an interesting points yesterday (and I rarely feel he makes legit points).
But he said that trusting defensive coordinators whose head coaches coach up the defense can be a mistake. Fisher has a major part of the Titans defense, and guys like Dave Wannstedt, and there were a few more examples that I forget off the top of my head.
