And... look on the bright side... Rice would've been a LOT more expensive and White is a relatively young player.

And, White's name has more letters, which means he'll be faster and more productive than Rice would've been.

Trust me, you should want no part of Simeon Rice. All that glitters is not gold.

Then if you attain him you will have to give him a new deal. All of this is far from what you want to do for a player like Rice these days.

I'll love him for everything he did for Tampa, but he is too inconsistent for a one dimensional pass-rush specialist. At one point, he deserved to be the highest paid DE in the game but not anymore.

He doesnt step up against a) premier LTs, b) 3rd down passing situations and c) 4th quarter drives

It's very irritating after seeing Sapp do it for all those years. Getting sacks on cue. 3rd and long, Sapp with a sack. 4th quarter, small lead, Sapp with a sack. The Tampa 2 thrives on that play from the front 4 and Rice doesnt provide it anymore.

I only wish the BUcs could get a 2nd round pick. I would be ahappy with a 3rd, and I would take a 4th or a 5th for Rice right now. He's probably only worth a 4th, but surprisingly it doesnt seem many have caught wind of his play of late. It also doesnt seem like the BUcs are polanning to do anything with him anymore, but who knows maybe they are being really quiet about it but intend on trading him
