So I had a lunch date with a girl yesterday and everything seemed to go smooth. I did mention us going out agian next weekend and she said yes. But I usually don't put much stock into that kind of thing. I had meet her before yesaterday, but most of our conversations until this has been on facebook or text. I would like to avoid calling her to get a 2nd date as I'm not good when it comes to talking on the phone.

What should my next move be? She's the type who's kinda quiet as first, but you can tell she will open up as you get to know her. So I don't see her contacting me first.

If your not good on the phone than just make the conversation quick by using some kind of time constraint (whether or not it's true).

If your really not comfortable with phone calls then when you text her make sure that the conversation is fun and playful.

It would work best if you have some kind of activity already planned (i.e your going out with your friends) just invite her to go with you. I agree with waiting a few days before asking her, if you try to soon it may come of as clingy.

if you're an adult, that kind of 'forwardness' is appreciated though.

Okay I'm 16 and I went to church camp several weeks back and I met this girl there and I started to like her. She lives about three hours from me and I don't really have a lot experience with relationships as it is and I have just been texting her. She told me about some missions they were doing in their town like going and seeing people at nursing homes and stuff. I went up there and participated in it with her friends and I met some cool guys as well. I stayed at her house in her guest room and we really had a great time. We were about to watch a movie and she mentions her ex and she has mentioned him before. She said she felt horrible that she didn't tell him that I was staying over but he would jump to conclusions if she did. I tried to help her through it. This guy is a really jealous boyfriend and it seems like she wants to just be friends with him but its hard breaking off after around a year. So after the missions we went to the fair and there was her best friend there (a guy but, she isn't interested in him) so I couldn't be that close to her. I left after she made me ride a ton of rides I never ride and had to talk me through it all cause I was on the verge of bailing on most rides.

Anyways we had a really good time, and she is exactly what I want in a girl. Most girls I meet they aren't as similar to me in the aspect of faith. I'm a pretty big christian and she would be perfect. I don't know how to say I like her because I don't know what that looks like. Sometimes I think its stupid I'm trying this cause she lives 3 hours from me. I try to give her hints I like her but I'm not sure what to do. I've been praying about it. Thought maybe you more experienced guys might have some wise words?

We are both in our mid to late 20's, so I don't really "hang" out with me friends on a regular basis. Except for when it has to do with sports and she isn't into that (playing them that is).
