This would be an insane LB core.
Peppers - Spikes - Willis - Lawson/Haralson

especially considering he's like 6-6/290 and the most perfect LDE in a 4-3.

It would be a waste of athleticism to put him at DE in a 3-4.

To be honest, even though Oakland needs a NT about as badly as any team in the NFL, I'd rather sign Peppers. I have less concerns about his playing falling off once he hits the big bucks.

Then he shouldn't, and won't, go to a 3-4.
Simple.

That would be a nightmare for the Packers.
Your DL already is loaded. That would become a Pro Bowl team.

And you will.
Isn't he from Tennessee?
I can't imagine him leaving.
He'd look great in Green Bay though. Follow Reggie's footsteps.

When did I say it would be smart for San Francisco to sign Peppers? Go ahead and point it out.

Agreed 100%. Haynesworth never really became an absolute force in the league until last season, which was his first contract season. This year was another contract season because he was franchised, and naturally his production didn't drop at all. Peppers has been a monster since he came in, with only one bad year (2007). I'm more confident in Peppers to continue his production after getting a big pay-day.

Haynesworth to Seattle would seriously make my offseason. I wouldn't even care who else they brought in, much less care about who they took in the draft.
The Seahawks have improved their run defense this year, but Haynesworth would make it better by far. No to Peppers because you can only have so many DE's taking up that type of money. I would only welcome Peppers if they had gotten rid of Lawrence Jackson, which they won't do.

I don't think that was just it. His production spiked that season he was about to become a FA just because the previous season he was suspended 5 games, and after that incident, I think he matured and realized that he couldn't act like a little ***** anymore. I'll be happy when Fat Al resigns with the Titans. If that doesn't happen, I hope they make a strong push for Aso, just because it would give us the strongest CB core in the league.

Peppers. Bills run defense isn't the worst, but the pass rush is PAINFUL to watch if Schobel isn't playing.

Haynesworth and Rogers would be the sickest thing I've ever seen.

I'd take Haynesworth over Peppers in cinci. We've got a lot of money tied up into Odom / Geathers, and they both could be good players with Haynesworth between them.

I cheer for the Vikings! They need no one on the D-Line! But if it were the Dolphins i'd say Peppers.

Now, who here has last year's big new contract terms?
Let's see some educated guesses at how much bank Haynesworth, Peppers, Suggs, Lewis, Jordan Gross, and Nmandi are going to get. How big is this bank going to be? I'm sure record deals. But how much is that?

Ray Lewis IMO is going to sign a moderate 2 or 3 year deal with Baltimore. This crap I hear about him leaving somewhere else to sign a big deal with 25 million in guarantees is ridiculous.

Try watching the Chiefs there are players with more sacks on their own then we had as a team.

I wouldn't want the Falcons to sign either of those players for what the market value is. I don't like seeing my team throw that type of cap space at a player with character and motivation questions.

Not really, look at Trevor Pryce in Baltimore, he has 12 (?) sacks his first year in a 3-4...
