Damn.. Ah well that's coaching at all levels of football. But wow since 2004 our coaching staff except for Coughlin has been musical chairs.

Still though not good for ELi and the overall team. Funny how Coughlin's original coordinator staff brought hired in 2004 is long gone.
Lewis...fired
Hufangel... fired
Kildrive... promoted
Palmer...hired
Spags... hired
Assistant OL coach....gone to Miami
Spags.... Gone to Rams
Kildrive..... gone to Oakland perhaps?

It does, doesn't it? Funny how Rotoworld was basically busting the Rams' balls earlier in this process for supposedly not wanting to spend big bucks on any of the big name candidates, only for the Rams to turn around and get Spags for under $3M a year.

Spags+Leonard=ultimate win.
Now Rams, to make everything fair, trade Torry Holt to us for our 4th rounder. NOW

I like this hire alot. Hopefully he can bring som of his defensive presence with him. Chris Long has to be excited for this.

Ron Bartell's giddy. He was doing great already but if he gets any sort of pass rush to help and spags' toutelage he could really be in talks for third behind aso and champ.

It is about time we get a good Defensive mind in St. Louis. It will be interesting to see who he brings in as OC and DC and other coaches for his staff.

Does this make Orakpo/Curry a lock at the Rams pick then as they pick up the guys to fit Spagnuolo's scheme?

Steve should get an experienced OC who has previous HC experience and has been working with spags for two years now...

There actually have been some rumblings about Chris Palmer as a potential OC...

Why would that make either of them locks? There are plenty of examples of new head coaches using their first round pick on players for the opposite side of the ball as the HC's specialty...
