So, now... NFL's best WR(s)
Andre Johnson, Then Larry too me... Calvin Johnson not too far behind
Andre Johnson > Larry Fitzgerald > Calvin Johnson > Plaxico Burress > Hines Ward, yes Hines in a top 5.
There's few more wr's with top 5 wr's skill. Just those came to mind first.

Yea, but he had arguably the best QB ever passing to him, and arguably the best o-line that year letting that be possible.

Quick top 5
1. Larry Fitzgerald
2. Andre Johnson
3. Steve Smith
4. Anquan Boldin
5. Calvin Johnson
I'd probably need to make a top 10 because a top 5 leaves out too many talented guys...Moss doesn't make my top 5 because although he is probably the or one of the greatest deep threats ever, he's not as complete a WR as some of these other guys, he's just an incredible deep threat and that's not a knock, just never viewed him as a complete dominant WR in every aspect.

In terms of just all around ability and studlyness:
1.) Larry Fitz
2.) Andre Johnson
3.) Calvin Johnson
4.) Steve Smith
5.) Anquan Boldin
If I wanted a #1, no questions asked WR, I'd be happy with any one of those. Other guys like Moss and Reggie Wayne and guys like that are still great and such, but I'll personally take all the guys I have listed there first. Doesn't mean offense to anyone I left off.

I'd just like to mention Roddy White and Reggie Wayne. They should be up there.

I'm sorry Plax was overrated in Pittsburgh and in NY.
Million dollar skills 10 cent brain.
Guy could make plays but he is by far the definition of inconsistency. Though Eli Manning needs him way more than Roeth ever did though.
Just to piss Metsox17 off:
I bet in 2-3 years Limas Sweed will be on this list.

On that bomb that he dropped. Any talent evaluator that watched Sweed in college knows he can catch... very poorly thrown passes at that (Vince Young and Colt McCoy.. Come on).
it's just gotta click for him.
That said, His deep speed is ridiculous.. and his agility to fake the inside route an then turning on the jets to finish the double move completely broke the receivers ankles.
But that block was amazing.
You know somewhere Keith Rivers is thinking "OH **** NOW THERE'S TWO OF THEM!?"

Plax is not top 5. Id argue for Hines but I'd be called a homer. Hines doesn't make the huge vertical routes that make all the other top receivers dominant, but there isn't anyone else Id rather have on 3rd down.

1) Fitzy
2) Andre Johnson
3) Reggie Wayne
4) Steve Smith
5) Roddy White
These guys are all still in there prime, but 5 is to short, these guys are all interchangable with Moss, T.O., Marvin Harrison, Greg Jennings, Calvin Johnson, Brandon Marshall, Marques Colston, etc. all of which have just left their prime or are about to enter their prime.

LOL, why would that piss me off? I'd love that. Hook 'em.
Anyhow, my top five is pretty much what LL and BeerBaron posted.
Fitz, AJ, Megatron, Q-Tip and Stevie. Out of all those, i'd take Fitz Aj and Megatron pretty much in any order.

Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, and Steve Smith are the clear top four in my opinion. After that, there's a bunch of guys you can put in that next tier.

Yea can't give up hope on Sweed, that pass he dropped the other night, was basically the only type of TD passes he caught his entire time at Texas...He is showing some good seperation but your right, it just has to click.
Just remember it's only his 1st year, and Roddy White looked alot like this for a few years...Great sign seeing him drop that pass then coming right back and laying the hit on that defender, love to see that type of stuff.
