Cardinals had a insane class that year

1. Larry Fitzgerald
2. Karlos Dansby
3. Darnell Dockett
5. Antonio Smith

3 Pro Bowlers(well should be anyways) and a very solid starter

Karlos Dansby not being in at least one pro bowl is a ******* shame, and it angers me that garbage players like (SS) Roy Williams last year can make it.

The last two years Dansby should have been a pro bowler, or at least this year.

Based solely off of pro bowlers, you have...

1. Eli Manning (super bowl champion) QB
2. Larry Fitzgerald (possibly best receiver in the league) WR
3. Philip Rivers QB
4. Sean Taylor (Amazing safety, still sad to see him gone.) FS
5. Kellen Winslow Jr. (Hell yeah k2 representin ;) ) TE
6. Roy Williams WR
7. DeAngelo Hall CB
8. Ben Roethlisberger (Super Bowl champ, possible 2x champ, youngest QB to whatever amount of wins it was he just had.) QB
9. Jonathan Vilma LB
10. Tommie Harris DT
11. Shawn Andrews OT
12. Will Smith DE
13. Vince Wilfork DT
14. Steven Jackson RB
15. Chris Snee OT
16. Bob Sanders SS
17. Darnell Dockett DT
18. Nate Kaeding K
19. Nick Hardwick C
20. Chris Cooley TE
21. Nathan Vasher CB
22. Jarred Allen DE
23. Michael Turner RB
24. Andy Lee P
25. Wes Welker WR
26. Willie Parker RB
27. Jason Peters OT

Non pro bowl players include...

Lee Evans WR
D.J Williams LB
Chris Gamble CB
Sean Jones FS
Jerricho Cotchery WR

Just to list a few...

The sickest thing about this draft is that it was strong at every position, I am pretty sure there is a pro-bowler from every position besides KR/FB, along with 2 super bowl winning QB's and one of which is about to win another one.

Another crazy thing is how many Miami Hurricanes turned out to be pro-bowlers as well.
Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt would like to have a word with you. :)

Almost as bad as:
Aikman, Barry, Deion, and Derrick Thomas being 4 of the top 5 picks in 1989, and the other one being our GMs pick of Mandarich at #2. A 21-year old with balding hair and zits covering his back, who ate 8 full meals a day with 1000-calorie snacks in between. Steroids perhaps anyone?

Babin IMO was only a bust because frankly the time he was given was short.

Houston changed from a 3-4 to a 4-3 either his 2nd or 3rd year there and he never had the attributes to be an every down DE.

I'd say he's a Bust from mal-utilization moreso than inability to succeed at a position they were fitting as those other guys on your list.

If he's a FA I'd love for him to come to Pittsburgh as a Rotational OLB.

Niners probably set and NFL record for worst first round pick in history that year. Atleast we are making history for something.

I'd add Max Starks to the list of Booms.

He was the RT for our Superbowl run and now he's likely our Franchise LT.

Hard to believe the last 2 were the best 2.
Don't forget, our genius GM (they're the GM's so they always know best), TRADED UP to select that PUNTER in the 3rd round. That punter who was only able to be a starter ONE season in college and was barely above average. I still suspect there had to have been a connection between Sherman and the Sander family, like Sander's dad saved Sherman's life sometime long ago.

1. Rivers; yah baby! Tough to complain when you hit on a QB. Plus Merriman, Kaeding, etc.

2. Igor Olshansky: eh, beastly against the run but probably the slowest D lineman off the snap in the entire league.

3. Nick Hardwick: Yay, Pro Bowl center.

3b. Nate Kaeding: Yay, reliable kicker.

4. Shaun Phillips: beastly pass rusher

5. Michael Turner: OMG

7. Shane Olivea: Was our starting RT for years, but got cut when he got addicted to painkillers and started sucking. Shame.

In 74 the Steelers almost had the best draft of all-time all by themselves.

4 HOFers in Lambert, Stallworth, Swann and Webster. Plus an almost HOFer who was an UDFA that year in Donnie Shell.

The fact that Patrick Crayton (7th rounder) is only player left on the team from draft, speaks volumes on how bad that draft was for the Cowboys. It's been 4 years, these players should be the core and foundation of this team right now.

Bill made up for it in the next draft though.
