I thought he was pretty well regarded as RB coach of the Jets. A little surprised he got hired, but good for him and hopefully he has some success in San Fran.

Very disappointed with this hiring. Especially when there were plenty of other guys with better credentials. Move doesn't make sense to me at all.

All the other candidates they looked at had a pretty good chance of taking off after a year if they did well as they were young and up-and-coming guys.

Also this should be in the 49ers forum or closed as we already have been talking about this in our off-season thread.

I am not dissing it what so ever I am just saying it's going to be hard to talk about when hardly anyone knows who he is.
