A lady this classy deserves a tribute thread.

Some teams know a lot about their owners. Sometimes for good reasons (Pittsburgh's Rooney family), and sometime for bad (New Orleans' Bob McNair, who tried to officially move the Saints to San Antonio after Katrina). We Titans fans are blessed with a great ownership.
Not only did Bud Adams decide to move the historic Oilers to Tennessee, but he and his wife did a whole lot for the Nashville area when they got here while still remaining faithful to the loyal fans in Houston. During a time with controversial energy sources and greedy corporations, it's easy to look unkindly on a billionaire oil-tycoon. But, the Adams are anything but greedy, and anyone who has met them would tell you how kind and friendly they are. Their charitable contributions have helped communities and hospitals in both East Tennessee and Houston. Nancy McNair was a little ole church lady, and was still a member of her church's board. Bud Adams had this to say on his wife's passing:

My condolances go out to the Adams family. No matter the age or how wonderful the life, to see one come to an end is unfortunate no matter what.

In regards to football, many think that this coming year may be make or break. The Titans organization wants to get the Adams family a ring, and the passing of Nancy Adams the day after another team celebrates a Super Bowl victory may only instill that goal more. Perhaps frugality will be a trait we see the Titans FO lack this coming offseason?
