The top 25 FAs
from NFL draft site, looks like a very good year for LBs.

<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

The Chiefs need to sign Gross, Vilma and Brandon Jacobs for when we get rid of LJ!

3. DE/OLB - Julius Peppers. Age-29 ~ Yes, I put OLB next to Julius Peppers name and that's because he has said he wants to play in that defense as a rush linebacker. Can you imagine this guy playing OLB in the 3-4? I know offensive coordinators will dread the day that something like this happens. A 6'7 290lb freak who runs a sub 4.5 coming off the edge will give quarterbacks who face him the eebee jeebees.

That seems a bit exaggerated.

Is it just me or was it the same teams over and over that the FAs could go to. I know the Eagles weren't mentioned as possible suitors, and there are a bunch of others as well... I agree with the list overall, but I think this guy could have expanded his options, or at least not put the same teams as often, when it comes to potential destinations.

Vernon Carey would look amazing in a Niner uniform.

Of all those, the ones in bold are ones the Niners will realistically look at.

Yeah that's the first thing I noticed. I doubt he's ever run in the 4.4s. Probably shouldnt be posting that link either.

Which Ravens' linebacker(s) do you see in a different uniform next year?
I say Bart Scott.
I would love the Bills to get Suggs, Jason Brown, and or Leroy Hill. But I doubt that will happen.

If Aso leaves, it wont be to a bad team like Detroit, KC or SF. I could see him in Pittsburgh, New York(both), Minnesota, or New England.

If Aso went to my Jets I would go streaking. Lol him and Revis would be the best pair of corners ever IMO.

I doubt we let Jacobs go unless some one gives him a crazy contract. Then I expect us to sign a LB like Leroy Hill or Michael Boley

Aso will NOT be a Viking unless they intend to scrap the Cover 2. They are not going to pay that kind of money for a strictly man corner when we play Cover 2.

I would love for the packers to break the bank on Aso and Peppers. Now I know it hasn't been Ted Thompson's M.O. in the past to be a big spender on the free agent market (exception Charles Woodson) but those two guys would turn an average at best defense into a phenomenal defense. It would be risky starting two guys that have never played olb in a 34 defense but wow, Peppers opposite Kampman in any kind of defense is a scary thought. Couple that with Aso and Woodson (maybe keep Harris but I'd be fine with letting him go) covering receivers, the quarterback would have like 2 seconds to see his receivers locked down by the 2 (or maybe 3) of the best man corners in the game.

I would absolutely LOVE Nnamdi to the Patriots, but we all know that isn't happening. Still, that would pretty much be the best thing ever. Well, stealing another Baltimore linebacker wouldn't be so unsexy either...but that's a pipe dream too. A cornerback would be nice though. Rolling the dice on Foxworth if the price is right could be good.
