ESPN says it's a 2nd and a 3rd. Good deal.

Well, slightly less upset if it is indeed a 2nd and 3rd.
That leaves the Bucs with very few picks and quite a lot of holes. I'm guessing they're planning to be very active over the next couple of days.

Hahahaha. I wonder if he'll be able to stay on the field? I wouldn't have done that trade.

2nd and a 3rd is good value for the Browns. Considering the distance between Winslow and Cleveland, I would say this is a good deal for them. I like what the Bucs got in this deal, but i'm not sure if i personally would have given that much considering the injury history and potential issues. Seems like they take all the risk and they still gave a fair bit. Winslow can be an elite TE though, and i think he will prove valuable for the Bucs and increases credibility after they cut so many key players. My thought though was that they wanted to start young and build....and although Winslow is young, i again worry about the knee.

Has the 2nd and 3rd been confirmed yet? If so I am really not too big of a fan of this trade. Even though last year's 2nd and 3rd round picks netted us dexter jackson and Zuttah.
The Bucs are really going to fill some real needs through FA this year with their lack of draft picks.

by "ESPN says" do you mean "Tim Hasslebeck guesses"?
I would be very mad if it is a 2nd and 3rd.

love winslow, but i agree with what a lot of other browns fans are saying in that you just don't know how much time he has left so we might as well get something for him while we can because his career is just going to waste at this point.
2nd and 3rd would be great, exactly what i was hoping for.

A 2nd and 3rd seems like an awful lot. Haven't seen it confirmed though.

In the winslow bucs conference did anyone else hear someone say "I know you ride a bike" or whatever when he was talking to "Roy"
I wasn't sure if that's what I heard or not just asking.

Hearing it's a 2nd & a 2010 2nd-5th depending on production next year.

Good move by the Browns.
For Tampa, it's worth the risk. But between Winslow and Antonio Bryant... attitudes are starting to pile up.

I can't believe nobody is responding to this statement.
Dude. Are you out of your mind?
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/player...?playerId=5531
You do realize he put up these numbers playing for the Cleveland Browns? The CLEVELAND ******* BROWNS. The team who, just within the last few years has finally found a decent Quarterback, coincidentally, while Kellen was on the team!
04 he broke his leg. You can't play a whole season with a broken leg!
05 Was the motorcycle accident. Sure he was being dumb. But you can't
play a whole season with a torn ACL! He also had a 6 week staph infection from this injury.
06 He clearly took advantage of BEING ABLE to play. As evidenced by 89 catches for 875 yards. After the season he had microfracture surgery to repair his knee further.
07 He had a monster season. This was AFTER the microfracture surgery. 82 catches and 1100 yards for a Tight End sure is soft, huh! What is tough? Like 2000 yards??
08 He played 10 games due to a staph infection. He would have 700 yards easy if it wasn't for that. He was hospitalized. He had over 400 yards in 10 games though.
The Browns have had 7 staph infections in the last few years. One of them basically ended LeCharles Bentley's career. It's serious stuff.
Call him injury prone, but you can't call him soft, and you can't say he doesn't produce. He can't produce with serious season ending injuries.
The only thing that makes sense is that things could be combustible if Tampa sucks. With Bryant and Winslow.

I think we will start seeing a lot more mocks with Crabtree going to the Browns now.

Does anyone know when Winslow gets to fail his physical so he can come back to Cleveland?

If its a 2nd and 3rd I hope he does fail his physical. But it is looking like a 2009 2nd and 2010 5th. I hoped it was gonna be for a 3rd.

Don't you go cursing my favorite draft prospect like that.

Awesome? So some "fans" know the exact medical status of Kellen Winslow Jr. knee better than the Bucs and Browns do... Right???
Kellen Winslow's knee has been bad the past 3 years, and he went to the pro bowl 1 year and set the browns record for receptions in another... He sucks.
