Photography
Ive taken photography back in high school for 4 years and I havnt used a camera or done anything photography related in almost a year. I want to get back into it and buy a cheap camera. I mostly did film in school and some digital, lost most of my work because I left my portfolio at school and never got it. So hopefully when I find the camera I want I can get it soon as possible and start taking pictures again.
Now I need some help from other photographers, between 150-200 price range is what Im looking for.
These are the ones Im looking at right now, if theres others in this price range that you could link me too Id appreciate it.

Well I would go Canon if at all possible. Even though they're slightly more expensive.

Well if you're serious about getting back into photography I would just get an SLR. It would last you a good 20 years if you kept it in good condition. If you're going for something a little less expensive I might recommend:
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co...odeli d=17480
I have no experience with the camera but Canon is the brand to go with and this is one of their cheaper high end cameras.
You might also want to check Consumer Reports.

Did you have to make one of those pin hole cameras out of an oatmeal can? That was pretty neat...other than that, though. I didnt pay much attention in photography and didnt really know how to use the more advanced cameras. haha. So most of my pics werent fantastic or anything. Teacher kind of pissed me off in giving me a 79 in my last marking period ever in HS. Well, I was pissed for like a day before, I realized that it didnt really matter but still. I hated seeing a C on there and giving someone a 79 is just a dick move to begin with. lol.
I could have done better, though. The picture I saw in my head never really was the image that was coming out on the other end.

It's going to be tough finding a good, new SLR for under $200. I'm pretty sure one of the higher end regular digital cameras, which it looks like you're looking at are fine.

Not sure if you did it on purpose, but I can read a great deal of symbolism in that day 2 pic. Nice.

Thanks guys
Day 003/365
The Three Faces
A wooden replica of The Three faces from Angkor Wat.
The Bayon is a well-known and richly decorated Khmer temple at Angkor in Cambodia. Built in the late 12th century or early 13th century as the official state temple of the Mahayana Buddhist King Jayavarman VII, the Bayon stands at the centre of Jayavarman's capital, Angkor Thom. Following Jayavarman's death, it was modified and augmented by later Hindu and Theravada Buddhist kings in accordance with their own religious preferences.
The Bayon's most distinctive feature is the multitude of serene and massive stone faces on the many towers which jut out from the upper terrace and cluster around its central peak. The temple is known also for two impressive sets of bas-reliefs, which present an unusual combination of mythological, historical, and mundane scenes. The main current conservatory body, the JSA, has described the temple as "the most striking expression of the baroque style" of Khmer architecture, as contrasted with the classical style of Angkor Wat.

I want to buy a new camera as well, one where when I push the button I don't have to wait 3 seconds for it to take a pick.
I could go the SLR route, but if their are some cheaper options I'm down for that. I'm not a huge photography guy just want somethign to take pictures at gathering and events, but sometimes u need like an SLR type for vacation or something u want to take a super nice pic.

I don't think so... I don't really know what an HDR photo is and after looking it up I'm still a little confused. Do you just bring out a lot of the colors? What makes it a HDR photo?

Its like taking the same photo taking it at different F stops with different lighting and merging them to bring out the color of light/darkness out more. Makes the photo look a lot smoother and brings the color out.
look something like this
not my photo btw
