Darius Butler, Best Corner in the Draft?
I honestly think I would rather take Butler than Jenkins. Butler is an unreal athlete. I was watching highlights of him w/ Deion Sanders and it blew me away. He should no doubt be a first rounder/steal. bill belichick went to his Pro Day.
Darius' Highlights.

He's not really the best at anything, but he is athletic, and I'd be glad if the lions picked him up in the seond or third.

I think this is a legitimate question. Butler's hips are unreal, but in the end it should come down to team schemes and preference when deciding between the two.

He is def faster than Jenkins. Jenkins is a lot bigger and has size on Butler. Butler went to a smaller program but is learning from the best. Butler with Deion at Prime U.

Second or third? I don't see him getting out of the 1st round.

I honestly think that Butler will turn out to be the best CB from this draft. Ive seen him play a couple of times and he is so good.

Welcome to NFLDC Darius. Hope you enjoy your stay. You will be a good 2nd rounder and you have the potential to be the best CB in this class.

<+BOE> Scott, with Burfict's character concerns (whether legit or not) you think Pioli would draft him. :D
<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

the lions 2nd round pick is essentially a 1st round pick, and I would'nt be surprised if he slipped into the middle of the second.

I have him going to the Ravens in the first round in most of my mocks that DHB doesn't fall to them.

If the Broncos don't take Jenkins in the first, I would be ecstatic to get Butler in the 2nd.

My favorite CB in this draft is Alphonso Smith but Butler is not far behind. I would be happy to see the Pats get Butler at 23 and thrilled to get him in the second round if he fell that far.

I think he just may well turn out to be best in the class. Unless Macho has something to say about it ;).

He will go between picks 23-26. No chance he lasts 'til the second round.

I think Belichick was probably there to see both him and Cody Brown. Butler is a good athlete but he didn't make many plays at all last year at UConn like the top cornerbacks did. He's getting way overhyped because of his athletic ability, and this is coming from someone who lives in Connecticut. Based on their play last year, Mike Mickens was the best cornerback in the Big East.

jenkins > butler
davis > butler
s. smith = butler ....depending on team need
butler > a. smith
butler > d.j. moore
jenkins is EASILY the best corner in this draft
