You must spread some reputation around before giving it to Ness again.

The only part of the Stevie Johnson trade that concerns me a little; the annual salaries:

Johnson is signed through the 2016 season with contracts set to pay him $5.674 million this season, $6.025 million in 2015 and $6.125 million in 2016.

That's a reasonable salary for his previous production levels, but it eating up some of the remaining precious room that I thought they'd use to re-sign Kap and potentially others.

It does provide some Crabtree "walk" insurance.

Your move, Eugene Parker.

That is right. He already got it in March. The Bills paid him for nothing.

I don't think I can really express how sexy adding Stevie for a conditional 4th is. He creates separation as consistently as any WR in the NFL.

Now think about who has lined up to receive with him and who he had throwing him the ball.

He has a 250.000 workout bonus we will pay so it will end up being 3,9

Wow. They just ****** the Bills in that trade then, even more than I originally thought.

Good research fellas.

By the way, LOVE the addition of Stevie Johnson by the 49ers. Probably the best WR at getting off the LOS fast & clean. Perfect for Kaep.
Like I've been saying repeatedly, in a division when you face PP ans Sherman twice a year, you need big, long, physical guys who can get off the line. SJ is a route-running demon and excels against press coverage. Love, LOVE, LOVEEEE this move.

So they got the 4th back they just gave the Bills. Baalke is just trolling the rest of the league right now.

Looking forward to the Martin-Kilgore battle in camp. Would've liked Richburg at this pick but since he is gone i am fine with Martin.

Still a lot of receivers and corners left that can be good.

Bryant, Moncrief, Ellington, Abbrederis, Janis, Herron and so on.

Desir, McGill, Breeland, Gaines at corner. It really is a very deep class at both those positions.

Why not Steve Johnson? Impact player and can step in right away. Whereas with a rookie WR, unless they chosen very early like Watkins/Evans/Beckham (at the cost of most of the picks this year), most will be sitting 1-2 years anyway.

I am with you guys so far both days have been a huge win for the Niners. Stevie Johnson HUGE addition! Him, Boldin, Crabtree, Davis on the field at the same time is just sexy.

The Carlos Hyde pick surprised me a little, but he is a great player and a great scheme fit for San Fran

I really like the Marcus Martin pick. This was his first year playing center at USC first freshmen to start on the line in 10 years at USC. From what I heard too he has a increadably high football IQ, and is just scratching the surface.

Boreland like Baalke said is just a baller. Second in career forced fumbles in NCAA history only to Khalil Mack. At worst I think he's an elite special teamer.

Brandon Thomas was supposed to be a top 50 pick as a guard before his injury. He gets to sit for a year and then compete. Another low risk high reward pick.

A+ so far

I can't tell you how ESTATIC I am with our draft. Even with a RB picked with our first second round pick, it was the one RB I really liked along with Sankey so even that wasn't all bad. I don't think one can love a man as much as I love Trent Baalke. He's trolling the rest of the league so hard right now. EVERYONE wanted us and expected us to make a huge splash, trade up for all these known prospect with big names because our window was closing and Seattle is so young and we should be so desperate because we haven't been able to capatalize these last three years off of the great talent we have, and yadda yadda yadda. But Baalke has played this draft perfectly, addressing future needs and getting excellent value in the process. Martin was a great pick. Only 20 years old, his best days are in front of him but already a solid and versatile player. All I heard pre-draft was that Borland was the next London Fletcher. I'll take that kind of depth. Defintely a little bit of a reach there but itsTrent ******* Baalke, he could have drafted Elmo at ILB and I wouldnt rush to knock the pick. And Thomas would have likely been a first rounder if healthy. Possible replacement for Iupati nabbed for mere peanuts. Just an excellent, excelllent draft so far. Most pundits will slam it because of the lack of highly touted prospects but when the dust settles, ppl will recognize now savvy Baalke is at this whole drafting thing.
