I love Los Angeles personally. I grew up there (in a suburb called Redondo Beach).. great weather, close to the beach, etc.

Southern California CAN be expensive though..

I know this our on complete opposite sides of the country but the one place and one area I am interested in most is Northeast/Pittsburgh area and West Coast.

Friends and the Steelers are pulling me to the Burgh area. And weather/outdoors/disc golf is pulling me to the West Coast.

-Very close to NYC.
-Tons of sports teams in the area.
-In the summer there is the Jersey Shore.
-In the winter there's ski resorts in Jersey and there's tons in the nearby states (Eastern PA, NY, Vermont)
-While the nicer suburbs are expensive there are many nice affordable places to live.
