I really think you underrate McClure. Do we need someone under his tutelage? Yes, but I think he's a fine player. Blalock is really the true weak link.

I like McClure and his leadership on the o-line, but he did get beat a lot in 2009. I agree with Blalock, he has a lot of trouble with quicker d-linemen.

3 picks in the top 100 isnt bad, especially after giving up our 2nd, should be able to pick up some solid players at those places.

Our offensive line is very underrated, and I do agree that Justin Blalock is really the weak link.

When Sam Baker, Todd McClure, Harvey Dahl, and Tyson Clabo are playing together and are healthy, they are a force to be reckoned with.

I think people have forgotten that we drafted a O-Lineman last year, Garrett Reynolds. He played tackle in college, but he could be our future at Guard.

In the First Round of the Draft, we need to really look at Outside Linebackers. Do we really need to draft a D-End in the first round? We got Lawrence Sidbury and Kroy Biermann waiting in the wings. I could also see one of those two guys actually playing linebacker in their future. Sidbury has great speed for his size and might be able to get it done on the outside, and Biermann came into the NFL as a Linebacker prospect.

Our weak link is Todd McClure; we need a mauler at C. In fact, we've been missing that for a long time now. I wanted to groom a new center back in 2006.

The same year falcons got their QB, LT, MLB... also should have grabbed a center somewhere.

Finished up that mock draft.

Rd 1 Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Mizzou
Rd 3 Greg Hardy, DE, Ole Miss
Rd 3 Eric Decker, WR, Minnesota
Rd 4 Ed Dickson, TE, Oregon
Rd 5 Eric Olsen, C, Notre Dame
Rd 5 Kevin Thomas, CB, USC
Rd 6 Ciron Black, OT, LSU
Rd 6 Marshall Newhouse, OG, TCU

Might have done one too many OL, but Newhouse was such good value.

I like it. We do need o line depth in every position, so getting a couple at the end is great.

Are you serious? Todd McClure is one of the most solid centers in the whole league! Justin Blalock plays like that preppy girl when you played Flag Football in middle school: Scared of someone running at them. He plays weak. That's what we get for getting a tackle from the Big 12. Sucks at run blocking but can pass block okay, but he still can't hold against the good Defensive tackles.

Todd McClure has gotten a little lazy over the years. He has looked solid at times but also pretty weak. He is smart and knows who to target when blocking and also he's a terrific leader. Even at his age, you gotta love the passion and his aggressiveness on the field.

The knock on him that i'll have is that his pass protection has gotten a bit weak, especially last year. Recently he got beat several times, and when he got a hold of the opponent he wouldn't hold it for very long. Doesn't finish his blocks and let's the d-linemen get back into the play. That's where his laziness is hurting him. He skipped mini camp as well last year, and didn't feel like doing much workouts either.

McClure is a good center, but he can definitely be upgraded. His experience and intelligence are his main assets, but he is not a mauler at all and gets easily overpowered by larger tackles. I don't think that he'd be replaced this year even if we drafted Pouncey (I think he'd push Blalock at guard), but I'd be disappointed if we didn't draft a C this year with the intention that he replace McClure in 2011. That said, I've been hoping for that for several years now...

We will have to draft an interior lineman anyway. Weather it be center or guard.

We need a LT as well because of Baker's injury problems.

Dez Bryant didn't run all that well. Supposedly ran it in borrowed cleats. Man, I love/hate hearing how he might fall. If he falls to where we select him, I'd be ecstatic. If he falls past us (and we don't pick him) it's one more chance for Graham, Spoon, JPP, Spiller, etc. to get picked before we get a crack at them.

Ill bet my leftie that we Thomas Dimitroff will not draft Dez Bryant

Also, anyone know of ANYTHING about us interviewing any of the round 1/2 DEs this year? Less than a month to go and i havent heard anything

AMAZING smokescreen if thats what it is. Heard plenty of Spoon, rd 2,3,4 LBers TEs and OC. Pouncey, Iupati. But only very few rd 6-7 DE and nothing higher than that

Still nothing of Jimmy Graham or any of the DEs...please be a smoke screen.

Ps Donald Butler at #83 would be a badass pick...due = beast

Almost worse if he was such a moron as to forget his own cleats on such an important day.

It would indeed be sick to have that kind of receiving talent: White, Gonzo, Bryant, Jenkins, Douglas. But I don't think we'll be taking any questionable characters like Bryant...

There are so many different options, all of which would likely improve our team, that I'd be amazed if TD makes a move at #19 that I can't like.

You never know. I saw Tom Dmitroff praising him on TV the other day.. If he is there at 19, I don't think he gets past us. It's bold, but TD is not going to pass on the BPA. Take away his character concerns and his ball skills ability is between Andre Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald.

The more i think about it, the more I am warming up to the idea of taking Maurkice Pouncey. The Saints had Sedrick Ellis and the Bucs will have McCoy or Suh and having a physical C to counter those guys for the next 10+ years would be great. It wouldn't be a flashy pick though :/
