Looks like Brett can't say goodbye to the spotlight. When will he realize that he isn't Jordan and all of these "comebacks" do tarnish his achievements?

Ehhh, I don't know on this. Favre didn't play too bad for 11 games last year so he's not washed up. He still can play fairly well at least Sage/Jackson level. Then he got hurt and tried to struggle through it. If he gets hurt, Minnesota is screwed because Brett is going to play come hell or high water. He is turnover prone but the guy can still play. Sage and Jackson are turnover prone too but Favres upside is more IMO. And Minnesotas D can handle some turnovers. Favre can do what he wants if he wants to play and Minnesota wants him go for it. It'll make the Vikings/Packers way more interesting too.

I look forward to picking up my Vikings Favre jersey in a couple months and wearing it just to **** with Packer fans.

For me, it's not a personal issue. I'm upset because in the end he'll fail like he did in New York and unfortunately, I think it would mean that Chilly gets fired, similar to Mangini getting fired in New York. I hope Chilly is with the Vikes for a long time.

Favre is a douche bag, I give a **** what he has done for the Packers. Over the last couple of years he has basically **** on them and is supposedly bigger then the franchise. Bring the Thompson bashing because omg lets hold Favre's hand and give him a tissue because he takes months to decide if hes going to retire and changes his mind 2597y89062096920 times. **** Brett Favre! Go to the Vikings, honestly I hope he does because hes washed up.

If the Packers weren't such a crappy team and if they weren't transitioning to a new defense you may have had a point here.

You might have a point if the Packers didn't miss sweeping the queens by a wide right FG last season. Good think the purple is immensely better, aye?

Well the team is much improved this year and underperformed I felt last year so only time will tell I guess. A win is a win so don't be bringing that wide right **** in here. I was only responding to the guy who was loling about the Vikings beating the Packers and claiming the Packers would sweep the Vikes.

for the DBZ fans. It kinda felt like the fight between Goku and Freiza, it just wouldnt end and even when it was announced that he was done.

I wouldn't want him to compete with Rosenfail and Jackson anyways. Cause due to Favres lack of mobility (due to his age, and fragile bones), Jackson would just own. I'm hoping Jackson steps up his game and shows the Childress, Wilf, and all those other guys that he can be the face of the Vikings franchise.

How was he ever the traitor? He didn't ever say he was coming back. It was terrible reporting based off speculation.
