I think it has as much to do with Romo/Johnson/Bollinger than anything else. A lot of those sacks were on those guys or at least partially so. We also attempted the eighth most passes in the league. If this group were blocking for Peyton Manning or Drew Brees, I think the sack numbers would be cut in half. I think our guys did their job for the most part and that the penalties given up by our tackles is the more troubling number.

2 Things:

1. I think it shows how poor our LG play was and how much that position affected the entire line.

2. I think it shows that everyone has been a bit too hard on Flo. He battled serious injuries to his shoulder and hand, plus he had to deal with major instability next to him and had one of his poorest seasons as a pro. And that still only put him at about the middle of the pack of LTs.

Look at how high up Carl Nicks is on that list at LG, I know I wanted him late and some other people did as well, and from all accounts he's doing pretty well.

I hope we can start to develop some guys properly on the line for once, right now it looks like we just have a bunch of back-ups who are not starter quality in this league, if we don't get some youth across the board were going to have to over pay in FA again.

And if Flozell was hurt, he shouldn't of went to the pro bowl, because he looked like grandpa winters out there, I'm really scared he takes another step back, I'm not expecting him to just worried that it's a possibility.

Once Romo starts scrambling around with pressure disaster is soon to follow.

I agree. You could argue that over the last few years, our drafting has been pretty decent to good, with the exception of one position - OL.

Hopefully we've hit on Brewster and I would anticipate we go OL heavy in next year's draft.

I'm somewhat of a defender of Flo. I think if he's healthy, he'll bounce back and have a solid year.
