I have a Crush on Carson.
With his big strong arm, he has big strong words about the receiving core.
Quote:
|
"It's definitely a new look for the Bengals receiver corps but I couldn't be happier with the guys we've got," Palmer said. "T.J.'s (Houshmandzadeh) gone and Chad's pretty much gone, he hasn't been here, so we've got guys that want those two spots, guys that compete day in and day out, when we're out there on the field, running, conditioning and in the weight room lifting. They're guys that want to take over for those two spots. They look every bit capable of doing what we're going to ask them to do."
|
And again...
Quote:
When asked what his expectations about Ochocinco this season were, Palmer said: "Well, I really don't know. I haven't talked to him. I haven't talked to anybody that has talked to him. He wasn't here last year so I'm expecting him not to be here at all this year. Last year I think he was here for the mandatory camp but didn't participate in it. So I'm planning on him not being here just because he hasn't been here yet so we'll prepare, like I said.
"We've got Chris Henry ... He's a guy that's had a great offseason, really turned his life around. I'm excited to watch him play. He's a guy that seems like he catches a touchdown every other ball that's thrown to him, he's that explosive. He's kind of taken over for Chad's position and he's a guy that, like I said earlier, does not want to give up that spot right now."
|
Henry, with a solid head on his shoulders and playing time could EXPLODE this year.

Carson's been my favorite Bengal since 2004 and I've really never had a reason to change that. Franchise Quarterbacks aren't exactly a dime a dozen in this league and it's nice to know you've got one of the best guys. My view of Palmer is still as the third best quarterback in the league behind Manning & Brady. He's just a great locker room presence and a tremendous player. I think he will be the key instrument and once again the face of the NFL's Comeback team. I have high hopes for Carson this year.

or a team to support him. i bet he's frustrated as hell inside.
he's a fragile man, with a heart of gold.

He honestly is not that fragile. When his knee essentially exploded, he came back in under a year and had his best statistical season. With his elbow, it took a while before he was taken out. And before his knee he had no injuries I am aware of.
And P2CJ,
I knew a girl who would have done anything for Carson, she had Carson all over her walls. Me thinks he would pick her over you.

Depends on how much he likes talking about football constantly, I could grow my hair out I guess.
In the playoffs he's 1 for 1 with a 63 (I think) yard completion. That pass was absolutely beautiful. I could not possibly love him calling out Chad even more.
If Carson gets solid protection, we make the playoffs.

If Carson stays healthy, I think we make a wild card minimum.
Idk she was quite "gifted" lets say lol
