All game writers, please remember to list any injuries you may have had after you post the stats.
And please remember, do the stats for the starting QB, RB, K and any player over 80 overall.
Thank you.

There should be a QB completion % stat, cause Herman Plainview's is over 78% :D

I'll add that in next week. Stats like that are easy to do because you just need to insert the formula and Excel does the rest!

I guess the bios I wrote didn't matter. The ONLY strength I gave Max Koger is that he's never missed a game winning or game tying FG.

Lol, yeah but you can't expect that to really hold true for every situation.
That'd be like me writing in my bio that my QB never throws an incomplete pass.

The Honolulu/Omaha game might be the longest game in the history of football!

Yeah damn that's not an entirely realistic strength. I mean a player can be good at pressure situations, but perfect?
My CB is the fastest player in the league and he got beat in a foot race last week.

It's not at all like that actually, since I specifically made him less accurate than average in all other situations and with a leg that could barely hit a 50 yard field goal. The ONLY thing I wanted out of my kicker was for the exact situation that just happened to never happen.

It's a kicker, it's not like I'm making a RB who always scores a TD in the final 2 minutes.

There is no player in history who makes the pressure kick/throw/run/whatever every single time.

I didn't have your bio for your player and it was a 43 yard field goal so it wasn't a gimme. Unless your kicker just plain sucks then you'll pretty much make anything within 35 yards. It's fun for the guys reading it and it helps get easy points. You know how writing a game goes. I wanted to make the game close and thought it was a damn close one.
My goal when coming into this game was this:
1. Have N.O. control the clock. It seemed easy enough since their running game is damn good.
2. Have Devin Saint have a poor game. I don't care if your Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Drew Brees you're going to have a poor outing at least once.
3. Keep it close. Both your team (Indianapolis) and New Orleans, I thought, were very evenly matched so I didn't want to have one team jump out to this huge lead and have it disappear. While that could happen, I felt a close one where it seemed like one team would take the momentum only to have the team that control the clock eventually win.
I'm sorry you're so upset about your kicker missing a game winning field goal. Next game I wrote for you guys I won't make that happen, although the best FG kicker in the history of the NFL was never perfect in clutch situations. It just does not happen. Everyone is fallible.

I had just finished reading the game when I wrote that, and when I saw Koger + potential GW kick, I assumed win because of the bio I wrote. I know you didn't have the bio, and it wasn't meant as a shot at you or anything, it was pretty much frustration at thinking the outcome went one way only to find out it went another. I know you weren't trying to sabotage my kicker or anything, and I know writing a game can be tough at times, so don't take it as a personal shot, as it was not meant that way at all.
EDIT: Also, I HATE potential game winning/tying misses, Mike Vandershank gave me enough of those to last a lifetime.

Which is probably something that we would want to avoid.
The idea of him hitting those kicks being pretty much a stipulation is nuts.

The whole point of the bio I wrote was he's really good with the game on the line. Saying that he's never missed a game winning or tying kick doesn't necessarily mean that he never would, but he's now 0/1 on those types of kicks. I guess it was just upsetting to me at the moment that I wrote that that the only strength of the kicker I created was that he never missed a game winning or tying kick, and the first opportunity he gets here, he misses it. I'd think someone who has never missed one in his career to that point would hit a few in a row at least before missing one.

That's such a hard thing to go by. It's an unrealistic characteristic and it's even harder to satisfactorally pull off in here.
You say you wouldn't have expected him to miss his first chance at that, but now that he has missed one are we supposed to expect him to not miss on these for a while? I just don't think it works.

When you see Adam Vinatieri come in with the game on the line, what do you expect to happen? Obviously it doesn't always work out that way, but the vast majority of the time, it does.
