what grinds my gears is when my thread gets locked cuz one dumbass crossed the line. it also grinds my gears when people are wound up to god damn tight to enjoy things. it pisses me off when people are always trying to make sure they dont offend anyone. "gotta be politically correct! oh no cant say that! cant do this!" its a ******* joke. grow a pair.

What grinds my gears is people think its funny/tough/cool to make fun of suffering people because they're not from the developed world and they're interrupting your TV time. Be thankful you've been fortunate enough in your life that you haven't had to deal with something like 170,00 of the people in your country getting smoked by an earthquake. Be a human and show some compassion for people who really have it tough.

i never said anything about my feelings towards haiti. i actually feel bad for the people, obviously, because as if their country wasnt ****** enough already, they were just set back many years in terms of development. i give a **** about haiti. you completely missed the point of what i said.

Yeah prock, sorry if I came off as overly aggressive locking that thread. I think this one is fine for that kind of venting, say you wanted to say you don't give a **** about the bad influence grand theft auto games have on kids, you can go in here and say people who think that grand theft auto games should be banned because they are a bad influence on children grind my gears.

The only reason I sounded so angry was because BigBanger pissed me off with the haiti thing.

Pretty much anything that ESPN covers. Because it's 99% worthless.

I remember watching ESPN with my dad after school and thinking about how great it was. And then it became a mockery of everything it once was.

That problem is easy to solve. Call them up and say , " I'm switching banks unless you take away that charge". I've done it to Wells Fargo a few times. They always cave.

Yea, that was my plan.

No it's annoying that people who speak English as their primary language can't even distinguish between a verb and an adjective.

The grammar thing is different to me, as it is an internet forum, I don't expect people to type like they are writing a formal essay. However, there is absolutely no way you can tell me that you know the difference but simply confuse the two and it doesn't matter since it's an internet forum. You don't just use words you know are wrong just because it isn't a formal setting.

Honestly, has it really come to this? People don't think it's a big deal that they can't differentiate between two ******* words? Are you going to start talking like, "I is went to the store tomorrow," now as well? After all, all those words are similar in meaning to the words that should be there, but since they are close enough I guess it makes sense and should be acceptable, because after all, who needs to have any sort of common sense or the tiniest understanding of the language they speak every day.

For those who have English as a second language, I don't mean to direct this at you. But for everyone else, get a ******* clue.

im gonna agree with iowatreat here. i obviously dont give a **** about punctuation and things like that, but at least i type the right ******* words. dominant and dominate are completely different. it bugs me too.
